Are you sure it was drinking and not pain pills. He's had a lot of back surgeries and has probably picked up a bad pill habit. Maybe both, but with his history I can only imagine the medication he's on. Not judging, btw. I average about two kidney stones a year so I can't talk crap.

I'll admit..
I'm judging....that he shouldn't be driving if he has a pill problem or is drunk or both.

I've gotten away with plenty of drunk driving over the years and totally cut it out about 10-12 years ago now.
Someone with his resources has zero excuse.

Have a limo stacked with ladies on command if that floats your boat Tiger, but don't get out there and endanger others.
I have no idea why we in the US are so tolerant of it quite frankly.

Actually the news article says DUI, 'driving under the influence'. That could be either drugs or alcohol or a combination of the two. It doesn't disclose which.

That was my thought. Why would you drive when you can have your own personal driver. If I had half a billion dollars I'd pay someone to deal with that BS.

Yep!
We already know he loves to get busy in the back of his jet with a pilot doing the work.
Just migrate that concept to land based travel as well Tiger - Problem solved.

i have not had a drink since 89, i did have my share of DUIs 9 in all

20 yrs no license started off with just 2 years but they just kept adding em on.

worst at any one time was in texas. i had around 1500 bucks on me when i got caught

they kept my van and fined me 1400, hell they was not getting the van and the money i ask the judge how much a day off the fine he told me 45 bucks told him i would be around for a few and sat it out.

thanks good nobody ever got hurt other then myself in a few rolls while napping.lol

He stated that there was no alcohol involved that it was prescription drugs that he was prescribed by a doctor for his back. And yet he gets arrested at 3 a.m.   LOL

Unexpected reaction to prescribed medication.

This is what TW had stated was the reason for the DUI.

That said, he looks as rough as a bears arse in his mugshot pic, lol.

I'm thinking with his medical history he probably was prescribed some kind of muscle relaxer and a strong opioid like oxycontin. He probably stopped by the bar to have a few brewski's and forgot he already took his medication and popped a few more before paying his tab. Not an excuse, but he is human.

Get a driver, Tiger!

They have to paint it as meds related, he has only recently signed with new sponsors, won't go down well if he was drunk...c'mon he was out at 3 a.m what was he doing?  looking for a pharmacy??  he was drunk as a skunk..everyone knows it.

I heard on the radio today, that ESPN is photoshopping his mugshot so as to make him look less, well, "mugshotty".
