Cool. I live near Stonelick Hills in Batavia, OH. Is this by chance based off that?

I does not look like Ohio to me, but it is a very nice course to play. Ferint Point from the other thread is also a great looking course.  I would be interested in stoney's thoughts on the possible locations of both of them.

Sure. It was possibly just an interesting naming occurrence. Batavia is not common and to add "hills" seemed too coincidental.

That's cool. I think building fantasy on Lidar terrain is the way to go. Less restrictive, less consuming, more enjoyment in the building process.

I need to go play Stonelick sometime. I hear it's a great course.

Thanks for your contributions, real or loosely based on real!

Looking at the designers comment, it is based on a real course LIDAR but with the designers own interpretation of planting, so not really a fantasy course, more real/imaginary hybrid.
