i use live weather quite a bit, it would be great if on the real courses

you build if you could put this info somewhere on the splash screen.

not sure if many play like this but i like to play the weekend tourney on TV

while im playing the same course if we got it using the same weather. i also think it would be good for the tourney site if they try and play the same conditions for tourneys.

if anyone is wondering the zip for Quail Hollow for the weekend it is 28210.

even the Fantasy courses could be made to have weather by the theme, like an island course put a code on it

in the south Pacific and the designers could put a code on em for the weather they believe they would be in, in real life

on their fantasy course. like lets say Dry Gultch  Neil could have put a Death Valley Ca code on that one because it reminds me of the desert. by the way Death Valley 92328. if any of ya want me look em up just ask, i would like to make it easier for you,as you are doing the same for us.

thanks for the time

guys

My spreadsheet "PG Course Directory" (at MEGA site) has a column(s) listing postal address, zip-code, and web address, for all real courses.  At the very top of tab "Real Courses" is a link to a weather site (provided by Highfade).

I'd love for the real-time weather to be able to automatically selected based on the course location (from the coordinates in the description file) in addition to us being able to specify an alternate location.  Strangely, my preference almost sounds a bit like how TGC works, except the time of day and real-time weather would actually change rather than be the same every round.

We put in latitude and longitude; I thought maybe that would do the same thing, more or less, but I don't really use the real time weather.

Excellent idea
We've been asking for something along these lines in the game/CF/wherever it would make sense since sometime in 2015.
Most I could easily find referencing those efforts was here:

the spreadsheet works and is a real plus to have.

i still think it would be cool to have them on the splash screen

so if in doubt you don't have to leave the game to find out.

i would think it would be a no brainer for the designers to be able

to do this after all we all are looking for ways to make this game flow better, and i think

this is one that would not put much extra work on them.

as i posted before i have no problem getting these numbers for any of the designers.

if they don't want to take the time themselves.

im going to start adding these codes to my real courses splash screens.

sure hope the designers will start doing this i would much rather spend that time playing.

I think somebody else mentioned this idea - a default location Radio Button.
