What is your max cache size set to? Mine is set to 75 GB, but I only have 140 kb in the folder. Did you have it set to compress? Just wondering why you would have had so much stored...

I reckon it's for the same as any other app that comes with a cache: creating a bespoke repository for relevant files for quick and easy access from one single place.

I once deleted a Unity cache of around 60 GB: In it were old data from many previous projects. I first discovered this during a routine hard disc scan with a cleaning app when I thought that my hard drive space was getting too small.

Bottom line: Get rid of the cache, shouldn't be a problem. Unity will rebuild deleted cache data if necessary and you won't even notice. Preferably make it habit of deleting the cache after a project is published and before you start with a new one.

I can't find Unity on my computer. Or the cache setting. I do have PP installed.

Thanks!

Unity is a stand alone install. It is not part of the Perfect Golf install. You would only need it if you were interested in using Course Forge to design golf courses.
