Can someone tell me approximately how many people participate in the JNPG tours? How many people can you expect to see participate in an average tour event? How solid is the competition (gross)?

We run a mouse/control tour and a simulator tour. Since you own a Skytrak, you’re interest in the simulator tour. See my signature for the simulator tours home page. It currently has about 193 members. Not all play on tour. Some joined just to use OGT interface, Combines, and OGT practice features. Last week, 55 played in the Fedex tournament at Sawgrass. 43 finished. Our tournaments have 2 winners. Net and gross. Gross is super competitive. We have a few pga teaching professionals plus many scratch and low digit real life golfers on tour. See last weeks leaderboard below. Click on Switch to Gross to see gross leaderboard. For best view, use a browser on your pc.

If you have more questions, click on the Discord chat icon at top right of OGT site. We have a great online multiplayer community.

In addition to the weekly two round Tour Event, there are around another 4 or 5 tournaments running during the week - some 9 holers, some exhibitions on new courses, different modes of play such as Hazard golf, Stableford, team scrambles. I typically don't have the time to play two full rounds so quite value these secondary events. There are closest-the-pins and long drives too.

Some bigger events are three rounds, and then there are also big team events like the Ryder Cup that was just played - 48 matches among 32 contestants in that one and super competitive. Not sure if I'm allowed to mention PWTP but Zmax will enlighten if so (it's not porn-without-the-porn). There's also a Kid's Tour - short holes, miniature little things as young as 3 (I think) play in it.

The online community on discord is live text chat and has voice 'lobbies' that people typically join when playing together. Some people live stream on YouTube. Typically anywhere from 600 to 1300 chat messages a day ranging from SkyTrak/GC2 help, tips, CourseForge and just general chit chat - a very welcoming and positive vibe.

I am playing on the OGT sim tour and it’s a blast. There are Also monthly team events, closest to the pin competitions, a really cool match play system, a ladder system. The combines and stats alone are worth the $20 imho.

Come join us on discord and the tour I bet you will have a lot of fun.
