While DLC says Source Forge for Perfect Golf is installed, I cannot find it on my computer. The only files available are the basic Unity tutorials,

I think you are referring to Course Forge, rather than Source Forge (my dyslexia leads me to that conclusion .... not to mention the forum that this thread is posted in!). Have you followed the tutorials that Mike Jones provided in the tutorial thread?

Posts 1 through 4 in that thread show you how to install Unity (the correct version) as well as downloading and installing Course Forge.
