Just tested out a lateral water hazard on one of my holes...when it gives a drop option it way over the other side of the map..I have no idea why its doing this ?

Did you assign a "water" physics property to the river or pond?

If that's not it, could we see a screeny of your hazard with splines?

Yes i defined it water...

Laterals should be on each side, with a small section

of regular hazard on each end, and the directional arrows

for the lateral points should face each other.

Seems to be working now although it doesnt give a drop option only rehit...

That is totally different to the tut Mike Jones posted..I followed the one Mike posted exactly and its the one the sends me across the map to rehit....

Mike started by drawing a lateral Hazard and separating the sides

with a regular water hazard. I started by drawing a regular water hazard and separating

the sides with a lateral hazard, end result the same.

Very hard to help without at least a picture .

How to i downsize screens shot ,i'm using paint... keeps saying file to big..i also noticed the one mike did the arrows weren't  changed to other direction...

Mike's tutorials are great but he could have been clearer about the lateral hazard needing two regular parts to work.  He didn't mention the arrow direction thing either.

 

If you're taking a screenshot just paste it in Paint, there should be a resize option under the Home tab.
