Ive never been over on the golf club forum or registered on it. I ask a question are there any perfect golf fan boys over there? Just wondering as there is a lot of golf club2 golf club2019 fany boys testers on this thread. If my golf game was the golf club then so be it play it moan about its unrealisitc physics and silly bunkers and crap dial a distance golf . YES  i  know this thread is about the golf club but seriously the fanboyism from some is unreal its almost as they are getting a slice of the cake or maybe the dog crap

Yes, there are... in fact, there's a "Perfect Golf" thread in the "Off Topic" section there that is rapidly approaching One Million... as in 1,000,000 page views!?  It's got some good points and some bad points just like this thread, but overall, I've found both of these threads to be quite informative.

the PG thread over there is reporting that the controller no longer works with PG, it's a joke thread.   It started with good intentions but two pathetic individuals made it their mission in life to spread falsehoods about the game every day, HB kiss asses who now both hate TGC 2

In the interest of a little accuracy, the thread is not a joke thread at all and it's not at all different in how you behave here.  Those people had their preference, you have yours, the difference is you were a terrible houseguest who decided to spend time there peeing on the carpet and those people never brought that to this forum.  There would have been no reverse trolling in that thread without trolling starting on the behalf of you and others.  And I kissed nothing, I just preferred a different game than you.  But I didn't spend time here saying how much I hated this game unlike you there.

 

Both games are half as good as games we've had in the past, we shouldn't accept either.

It (the thread) was/is NOT reporting that at all... what happened was that someone heard about OGT and PGLS barring controllers from tournament play, and somehow took that to mean that controllers wouldn't work in JNPG anymore.  They posted a question asking if that meant Steam controllers wouldn't work with JNPG either.  DivotMaker (Tim Scott) actually straightened them out about it and the person asking about it replied and thanked Tim for setting him straight.

adx you purposely failed to update the game so you could report on issues that had been rectified many updates earlier.  I remember you reporting on ball slide when it had been fixed 3 months before, i also remember you stating that the ball had no logo, again you failed to update game.  All this because you wanted people visiting the PG thread to steer clear of PG.  Who fails to update a game that is still in development? you knew what you were doing.  You say i peed on their carpet, i said i had no faith in their product...guess what? i was right.  After i made that statement i never posted anywhere apart from the PG thread, i supplied PG news and info to the thread op ( stan solo ) and you just could not accept that, hence the your spread of misinformation at every opportunity, quite pathetic.  All that defending of TGC in that thread now you are banned from their forum, lol HB forums loss is our gain eh! why do you even come here? craving attention like a lost little boy it appears...laughable

In fairness i did not see Divot's reply, only the rumor post.  I am well aware of the ban on controller at PGLS as i was the one that exposed the possibility to dumb down the stick sensitivity via steam big picture mode.  I did so with a heavy heart as i was a controller player myself playing tour pro and doing well, ( and no adx its not artificially difficult, you just need to put the range time in, as the golfer you claim to be you should know that ) and in doing so i excluded myself from tour events, but it had to be done in the interest of fairness.  From that will spring a RTS tour that will seek to negate the need to use any exploit, so its not all doom and gloom for controller tour play.  This exploit is even more effective with TGC as you can dumb down the sensitivity, remain within the cone, and use tour clubs, yet never hit straight lines, it's the perfect visual foil to anyone calling you out...Makes you wonder how many at TGCT are employing it now.  If i found it by reading a post in a project cars 2 thread then anyone could find it.

I won't let this thread turn into a 'who did this' and 'who did that' thread about what happened over on another forum. It's simply not constructive and only interesting to about 3 people so if you have anything legit to say about the actual TGC game -  past, present and future, have at it.

 

This thread was actually becoming quite interesting at one point.

I did purposefully sabotage you and others trying to recruit people to stop playing TGC and play this game instead.  Nobody from that community ever did that here.  

I never, repeat NEVER tried to recruit a single soul, i just posted PG images like this one....

DogGs, I just didn't want the impression to get out there that there was a group of gamers in the thread disparaging JNPG for not supporting controlller play anymore.  It was a misunderstanding by one user, and no one else jumped on it to bash JNPG... it got corrected in short order.

It's ok JC i never thought there were any HB forum members posting anything negative, i know it was just hearsay and the post was innocent enough.  It was only ever adx and J eric who tried to post misinformation from the start.  I initially contributed to the thread because stan solo asked me,  he knew i had shifted my focus to PG and wanted first hand info.  I like Stan he's a good guy so it was no bother.  Of course the thread got out of hand at times, but seriously, 99% of what i posted over there was firmly tongue in cheek banter and game info.  The notion that i would try to recruit GC players to defect to PG is laughable, i think MJ could confirm that i'm not on the payroll    I totally get why some people would plump for TGC as their go to golf game, i played it myself for a long time and cannot complain that i never had value for money.  When we had that ball squirt fiasco the swing got changed and became way too easy, it was never that difficult anyway but after ball squirt it was just silly.  There was never any talk about stiffening up the short game, i did ask for change many times.  Couple that with the most horrendous screen tearing i have ever experienced in my time gaming when i owned an AMD card, i could not get thru 9 holes without it corrupting,  after that i just lost all faith in the product and PG was perfect timing for me to shift.  I will no doubt cast an eye on TGC 2019 but i won't be rushing in until i'm 100% convinced it has changed for the better, TGC 2 was a complete let down for me, i wish i could say i enjoy the odd round here and there, but it just fails to meet my requirements.
