MY wife just bought me a new Asus laptop, what a great little women she is but i guess i am worth it lol.

Anyway I have been avoiding the site for months, mainly due to the fact I could no longer load any course for some odd reason, I figuired if I cannot play a course, not much sense in trying to make one, My desktop is 7 years old now, and has only 3 Gig ram, 8800 GTS graphics and 6600 dual core processor, Everything worked great at the start which is why I was one of the initial buyers when it was 1st released, I figuired because of the updates to the game and looking at the min spec's of the game, the only thing I met was the graphics, My Desktop has a multitude of problems as well in startup and performance and only 82Gig left on the main drive.

The new laptop comes with HDMI so I can connect it upto my 24" monitor, 5th Gen I5 Processor, 2.20 max out at 2.70, A 920m 2Gig Graphics card, and sadly only 4Gig1600 DDR3L Ram.

Have just spent 3 hours powering up the battery as was recommended before use, and now off to bed, I intend to upgrade the ram to a max I think of 8Gig asap, Hopefully this wil allow me to not just play all the courses, even if at lowest level, but get stuck into Unity finally, it also comes with Windows 10, which is a big step for me, as I have used vista for 7 years as well, hopefully the game runs fine on this new OS.

Also looking forward to hopefully creating some nice textures and structures.

Looking forward to the future now.

Cheer's.

Dual boot W7/W10. I use W7 for everthing important.  I keep an eye on W10 by booting to that OS from time to time. No way will I ever use it for my main OS.

W10 users (in droves now) are donwloading Start10 to be able to navigate like Windows 7.  I admit that Start10 is good and could lead to W10's salvation.  Good for Stardock's developers. They are now reaping rewards due to Microsoft's blunder.

Nothing wrong with win 10 interface,  very easy and intuative, no need for any 3rd party add ons.   Ive had no problems at all and prefer it to Win 7  ( so personal preference only is the name of the game)  and Im a pensioner before anyone thinks change is for youngsters.  No point in dual booting and using up hard disk space.

I simply type what I'm looking for in the search bar. Pulls it up way faster than any archaic W7 start button ever did.

My young bloke got a new laptop with windows 8 sometime ago, freakin nightmare to learn till 8.1 come along. Windows 10 Home on my new laptop is a piece of cake compared to 8, so many good things to learn, ease of use is great, mine doubles as a tablet.

Even with the 4 gig ram I can run the game fairly smoothly at even higher levels thank goodness, still hoping to get another 4 gig soon.
