3D grass,

How awesome looking it is :P , specially when moving along with the wind. To see the ball sometimes hidden under the rough it looks very realistic to me.

I could imagine that all new courses would be created using this kind of 3D grass  B)

Longing out badly for the new release of Perfect Golf  :D

Regards, Eric

Yes, I’ll second that. Thanks chaps.
I’ve not noticed any slow down when playing a 3D grass course although I have noticed on a couple that I’ve played a ‘twinkling’ effect similar to that which 3D objects give off.

Love this 3D grass and when I play now I have been playing the few we have and solo as I don't play tournaments anymore. Hoping for more down the line and not seeing any slowdown at all.

I love the 3d grass.  I have kept the original non 3d courses (last one before the 3d grass update) in a separate folder because a couple friends computers can not run the 3d grass courses.  I also can not speak to the specifications of the PC's they use regarding CPU, Memory or graphics card.  So to accommodate my friends I keep them in a separate folder.  No problems this way.   3d grass is awesome.

If named properly, there is no problem keeping them in the same folder.  Well, it makes for more courses in the carousel, but after 300 its sorta moot anyway lol

  3d grass is awesome.

This... absolutely makes a great addition to PG. I sincerely hope that many designers will re-do their courses and add 3d grass, it makes that big a difference, at least to my eyes.  :)

From the player's end, one only needs to download the version of the course that incorporates 3DG (3D grass).

Translation to French via translate.google.com:

Du côté du joueur, il suffit de télécharger la version du parcours intégrant la 3DG (3D grass).

Aren't you updating your courses with the 3D grass pirate?

Btw, I only enter the game to try the new courses using 3D grass, so not sure when we will play together mate, hopefully  soon  ;)

See above Why I have kept the non 3d grass courses.  My gawd!  I know no one needs to keep the old versions of non-3d courses.

There is no problem anyways leaving them in the same folder as the 3d grass. Your only making more work for yourself by putting them into another folder and having to swap, kind of makes no sense.

I just feel more comfortable doing it that way.  Crazy as it seems.  More work never bothered me.  :)
