Anyone getting bad drops?

 

I've had a complaint from a PGLS user about holes 3 and 16, but I just spent an hour testing both of them and everything was working as it should.

 

I never know what to do about this anymore, because 1) I never get any video or pictures, so I don't know what circumstances cause the issue, and 2) if I test it myself from all sorts of angles and situations and have no issues, how am I supposed to forsee these things?

Hi Matt, just had a quick play through and these are my FPS settings (no issues for me)

I have an nvidia 1070ti and use ultra high setting custom (high tree quality 3.0, shadows 146, camera 5068)

Championship tees 1-9: 85, 123, 136, 64, 126, 81, 133, 66, 72

Championship tees 10-18: 193, 125, 174, 57, 92, 138, 60, 117, 81

3rd hole in bunker just short of green 195fps, 16th hole in bunker short of green 86fps

Could some of the issues be caused by Steam?  Strange things have been happening lately and not designer's fault.  I have experienced game going to desktop middle of swing, hitting drive then being on T again and having drop zone be hundreds of yards from pin.  Just saying.

I think my frustration with this is that these things never seem to come up in beta testing. There doesn't seem to be a foolproof way of finding these; they just come up some weeks or months later.

Kind of like a marriage.  Everything great at the beginning but then real life gets in the way.

Matt I think something glitchy can happen on any course.  It's just bad luck or "rub of the green" I suppose.  

 

I was testing Kinloch for Justin and had a shot that went into one of the small creeks.  I saved the replay because my next lie was "rough"

I had a "play it as it lies" situation and the ball appeared in a different spot from where it ended in the replay.  Bizarre. 

 

I sent him the replay video and he was never able to replicate it after numerous tries.
