Future of JNPG for Simulator Users

I'm that one guy - knew nothing about this and my sim pass auto-renewed for a year a while ago.

As I paid for a service (1 year's subscription) which I'm now told will not be honoured I'm trying to work out who's liable and who I should therefore pursue for a refund as it's in effect a breach of contract...……. In fact it's Trackman declaring that they intend to be in breach of contract if they switch off my access before the year is out. I'm told it's not Steam as the agreement is between myself and the developer/owner of the software.

Just out of curiosity, any reason TM didn't tell Steam to turn down requests for subscription renewals if they don't intend to honour them?
