PC Video gaming is just as strong as console gaming. My choice will always be a PC but I also understand why others choose console gaming.
Great statistics here as there are on many market research sites.

PC gaming is not only surpassing consoles but is growing rapidly. The main reason is a laptop can be used at work, college, home - anywhere there is a decent WiFi connection. Many laptop owners carry an Ethernet Cable in their laptop shoulder carrier. Consoles and desktop computers (usually) stay located in one place.
Laptop users can plug into huge screens wherever they go (HDTV and Gaming Monitors) with an HDMI cable. I can't speak for other old timers but I prefer my Desktop PC Station with multiple monitors, comfy high-back recliner gaming chair and thick cushioned leg rest with castors. I can sit here for hours to game, work and watch movies.

What's sad? The fact that there are no topics about PG/PG2 and this forum has basically become Off Topic 2?
