I think there could be a ton of potential here with a much more competent dev team

I was under the impression it was also using the Unity Engine, just as PG is. The best dev team in the world can only do so much with a crap engine like that.

I'm just reading about this TGC Tours forum disaster.
Apparently a banned member somehow got access and deleted everything on the forum, and had access to everyones email/info, etc

I didn't even know Crusher played TGC/2k Golf!

I was banned twice. It’s like a red badge of courage! I called Mike out and he didn’t like it!

I’ve spent quite a few hours designing on 2K23 now and I’m really pleased that I bought the game. Despite using the Unity engine, the courses and especially the trees look really nice. A big improvement on 2K21.

I see the game has been delayed for a couple weeks.Maybe it’s just to get it closer to the Masters.

The courses in 2k21 and 2k23 are the best part of either one of the platforms. They are numerous and many of them are very nicely done. The big problem is what it always has been: Lack of any control by the owner of the platform in regards custom tournament  player creation to suit the needs of you the owner of the game. They provide you with carnival like clothing and rediculous putter options  but any creativity on your part is not an option. Actual physics of the game of golf are C+ at best not to mention that 350 yd drives are all to common. Thanks, but I'll go back and play Links 2k3 where the graphics need updating but it allows me to play 5 different tours that are my creations. The PGA 2K gang can keep their PGA & Korn Ferry repetative where most of the courses they feature are not even played on the real tours. God, a weight has been lifted. Having said that makes me feel much better. Stay well my friends!

Here, here!   Still playing to this day and still having fun too!   The day I stop having fun playing Links, I'm not sure what I will do... The most replay value game ever!    It's timeless!

You are absolutely spot on when you say "Timeless". Since the L2k3 was released, I have never seen an Interface in a golf platform that is more senseable and thorough as this one. I feel that it is main reason that the Links Community still has a pretty good following. Of course the courses are not matching the graphic standards of today and the game itself has a few bumps & hickups, hell the platform is almost a quarter century old. Amazing!
