As average Joe, it is frustrating that we don't get to hear day by day updates, but we need to understand what these guys are trying to create. When we start to see some gameplay, I'm hoping all of the previous frustrations will be forgotten. Ditto for those designers waiting for CF.
Remember, none of us have invested any money as yet. If they did ask for cash to speed up dev, I'd be in there like a shot. I have faith they will deliver. When.....that is the fun and frustrating bit!

@daz - I hope so too. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure PP want to make some money out of this game (rightly so), but I get the impression that they don't have a massive corporate driving their timeline.

They already did, with the Kickstarter, but that didn't too well for one reason or another, but that's history now.
Onward and upward.

I think if they tried Kickstarter now it would be very different.....might not get £300k, but they'd get more than £20k. I for one didnt even know about PP until post-Kickstarter!
Agree with you Dave provided they lower the expectations somewhat. Seems reasonable to set the number around $50,000 which is still a pretty good chunk of change. Good chance of meeting that objective. Once the game gets a little further along in development then possibly have another. I think some people need to see a game that looks a little more operational before they completly jump on board.

I don't think there will be another Kickstarter. I think the deal with Sky has brought in funds, MJ says they've got a fair few devs onboard already.

Lets just hope the new devs are not from EA
("We can't do that with Unity")
