Hi,

I'm not really any gamer (anymore at least), but have been on the lookout for a golf game on the Mac. I purchased Perfect Golf over the weekend and are disappointed with the current performance on my MacBook Pro. I run F1 2013 on the machine and zooming around tracks at high speed, with good graphics is perfectly manageable, so I didn't expect a slow paced golf game to struggle. But even on 'low' graphics setting at 1280 x 800 resolution the game is unplayable really. The swing meter is not fluid, and the graphics are very juddery and out of sync with the sound.

My machine specs are i7 2.4GHZ, 8GB 1600MHz RAM, Intel HD (Discrete) Graphics 4000 1024MB. It's a 15" MacBook Pro Retina.

Is there anyway I can improve performance, and as this is currently 'early access', might I expect to see a substantial performance improvement before the retail release?

I've had serious performance issues with the game running on my imac2011 desktop. It runs nicely on boot camp so I guess the issues more to do with OSX

That's interesting and fair comment Bruce. But if they are going to be marketing this to the Mac platform it needs to work a lot better on it. (Which hopefully it will... Again I appreciate this isn't the final release.)

It seems some Mac issues have cropped up after the latest build.
Win 10, i7-7700 @4.2 ghz, 16GB DDR4, EVGA GTX 1080
Swing Type: Tour Pro Wireless XBox 360 Controller.

My issues have been from the initial release. Would be nice to run in on my native OS but a quick reboot to Bootcamp is not an issue for me
