Replayed Willow Heath and glad I did

FIRST sub-par round  71 (-1)  It is amazing what hitting fairways and greens can do for your score

Unless there is someone still out on the course....the tournament is over.

Congratulations to MetaWhirledPeas for a great win.

I'd also like to thank JMK59 for putting on an enthralling tournament - swapping the lead with MWP over the last week or so.

Thanks to all the players. The scoring was amazing and it was fantastic to see realistic scores. It made the tournament seem like the real thing.

Lastly, I would like to thank PP for building a superb golf sim. The scores and the difficulty levels have been spot on.

Without wanting to push my own barrow I also liked this format. It came about by accident but I think it worked very well as a competition for players from many different timezones. It gave competitors the ability to play their rounds in their own time without the restrictions of my normal 72 hole tournaments. It also meant each player could decide when to tackle a course and alleviated the tedium of having to play the same course over a long period. We are desk-bound computer golfers and we can play anywhere and any time we like so the format may as well make use of that.

So thanks to all the players and all the post viewers.

Congrats MWP - was a fun back-and-forth this week. My FIR and GIR averages just didn't allow me to go low enough to catch you.

Look forward to having more "new" players jump into the tourys.

Thanks JMK, it really was a tossup. One shot was all that separated us, and that one lucky shot can come at any time.
