Struggled with my snap, played a lot from the sand still shot 76 (+4)

If there is to be an FPC#2 I was thinking it might be cool to start having set wind conditions (and possibly other settings) for certain courses.

 

So gusty winds for Hidden Canyon and Crystal Pines and calm conditions at Black Swan for example (based on the scoring averages). I'm also considering running an FAC for min/min golfers as a feeder tour for the FPC.

Replayed The Black Swan. 35-34=69. BLI MS NPS Calm Med 10

Fairways. 64%
Greens. 61%
Putts. 1.61

Finally I have scored a round under par at this course. I am now done with this event and await the next event knowing the game is playing into Tour shape. Made Par on 18 after hitting ball in hazard and made about 11 ft putt to save the par. My putting is really been good as my distance control and reading of the greens is really on right now. Still need to get a little more off the tee to get better shots at the pins with lower irons. This could change with the update and tougher rough as the short stuff could be the more desirable. Anyway thanks Ted for running this and it was much fun and challenging.

Looks like you need to lower SH below -3.  I need to make a big splash elsewere - maybe HC.

Guys I don't think there is a 64 at Shadowlands. Great scores by both of you tho.

68           @ Shadowlands.

 

Tough morning. Shot a 72, then a 72, then a John Daly, then a nerve-wracking 68. Turned at 2 under. Got it to 4 under then back to back bogies on 15 and 16 had me rattled. Hit it to 2 foot at 17 and dropped an 18 footer for bird at the last. I'm pumped.

I'm sure it's a great course, but after chasing 68 all night, all I want to do now is bulldoze it. Hats off to you with your 66, Ted. Maybe it's the sleep deprivation talking, but right now this seems like the toughest of the courses.

70%...? Wow Mike that's asking a lot but I am sure a few have accomplished that feat maybe a few times but not many. By the way when the wind howls if I keep it near a fairway I count it. Lol.
