This Course Forge is great! This is my first effort.
Only kidding, like everyone else, can't wait to get my hands on this tool. Congratulations with the new site and hope to get designing soon.

Man, now that is something.
I can see you must have spent quite some time working out that design layout. Reminds me of that Links 2003 classic 'Lone Cypress'.

The planting doesn't really suit the course
Posted 08 May 2013 - 12:01 AM
The real problem with this course is, it doesn't have any shadows, just the golfer does. What a let down after investing so much in a top notch graphics card too.

After all the negative comments, I'm seriously thinking of ditching this course. Just think of all those hours wasted..

Your textures are too green.
Your tree selection is inappropriate for the genre.
It's too easy.
It's too hard to play in PowerStroke.
It's not mod friendly enough.
What a waste of a download.

How many hours did that take you?
Even with all the tools, it still took me the best of 37 hours. Most time went into getting the elevations just right and of course the planting

Looks like Course Forge handles the seam blending really nicely.
The textures just appear to all blend in as one, awesome work.

You're right! I can't even tell where the rough ends and the fairway begins!

The way I drive the ball, there is no fairway!
Then this will be one helluva course for you!

Not happy with the name 'Lone Palm'. I think it should be called Lonesome Palm.
