shimonko, I used to be a lot more of a golf sim snob than I am now, so I can relate to where you're coming from.  I gravitated toward console gaming in 2006/2007 and had less to choose from in the golf game market as a result.  My favorite console golf game is still Links 2004, on the original XBox.  I liked some of the Tiger Woods games on the XBox 360, with Tiger 10 being my favorite.  I'm not seeing the hovering golfers in Winning Putt that you're seeing, but I may have overlooked them.  I tend to dismiss a lot of graphical anomalies to You Tube video compression though.  Yep, the cup sounds are overstated and I've seen putts in the videos drop that should have passed over the hole.  OTOH, I'm also seeing some believable trajectories and rolls on approach shots.  It's hard to say what the final product will actually yield.

My favorite PC golf games were PGA Championship 2000, LInks 2003 and Tiger Woods 2006.  Sierra dropped PGA Championship and it started showing its technological deficit badly when Links 2003 was released.  I played Links 2003 for a couple of years, but the interface and relatively static presentation made it lose its appeal.  I got tired of playing PC hardware/driver upgrade tech and dropped Tiger 2006 in 2007, and most of my other PC gaming along with it.

I've unconsciously kept buying desktops over the years that are halfway capable.  I have one now that runs my favorite PC game of all time - Grand Prix Legends - in full detail at 1360 x 768, with no framerate drops.  I'm hoping this desktop will halfway get the job done for both Winning Putt and Perfect Parallel.  BTW, Daum Communications has put out a "1H 2014" release date for Winning Putt on their annual report.  It might barely beat Perfect Parallel to the market if it pushes the end of that window, I'm guessing.
