For chipping the distances shown are now carry and roll on a normal stimp 10 green.  This was changed a little while back.  For other shots the distance shown is carry only.

Interesting that using 3 click I did get about 55 feet but with the mouse swing I averaged 43 feet.  What with the tempo element in MS the chips ranged from about 20 feet to 60+ feet depending upon the speed of my swing (too slow/too fast) but the chips that had the "feel" of the right tempo were in the 42 - 44 foot range.

Well Joe I use motion swing and I get 55 feet on the 64 wedge. Your problem may be if your not used to the motion swing your taking too long and losing distance. If your going past the three seconds just a little it will start taking off distance.

I figured out why we seemed to be seeing such differences in our chips, lol.  I use the point where the meter begins to turn from clear to yellow as my "100%" (12:00 on a standard meter) mark with the area above that as the over-swing zone.  That "100%" point equates to a 40ish foot putt with my 64W.  However, swing to the very tip of the meter and the chips go 55 feet.  It seems to me that at some point in the more distant past Mike had said something about that transitional point being where the default measurements were taken from, so I've always played that way.  I know my 60W goes 66ish feet from that "100%" point which is in line with what's displayed.

:)
