Hope springs eternal! I have a good feeling about it, actually. (But that could change by this afternoon!)

But he also stated that trying to fend off <blank> users is taking the developers away from ....... well, developing!

I know the stock answer "soon" I get it. The wait is brutal. I honestly have no interest in playing the golf aspect of the game. I only stumbled onto this game while looking for software that would allow me to create a course. The course creator on the golf club looked meh so I've been patiently waiting for CF to come out. Course Forge feels like Winds of Winter. I'm loosing my mind. Obviously I want a good product and hopefully you understand I'm just venting. When I was in the Marines we had a saying "A happy Marine is an informed Marine. I just hate the lack of information in regards to the time line.
Just pulling your chain. While I'm not a course designer, I do follow the posts of those that are. I hope that you are spending time learning Unity since that is the core. Course Forge, based on my understanding, is an add on to that. You need to understand Unity.

The community needs to poke the bear. I have patience but this is getting rediculaus. Just give us a effing ETA and I... and hopefully we would be happy. It's super frustrating with bata participants communicating ideas, sharing pics and opening threads called show and tell. Then we have little old me stuck waiting and waiting and waiting. All my frustration could be subsided with an announcement. "We expect to have CF ready for the public by this day mouth." Even a general idea would be amazing. JUST DO IT. JUST GIVE AN ETA PLEASE!
I agree that the community needs to stay involved.
However, why would the developers give an ETA that they're just not going to keep?
They've tried giving time estimates before, and let me tell you... they are terrible at it.
They should have released Course Forge several months ago; since it obviously works well enough for the beta testers to have produced dozens of golf courses.
Also, Who really cares about tree licensing? We'll just do whatever everyone else has already been doing for trees.
Or, am I missing something? Did the beta testers have to pay for trees out of their own pocket?
