It is a fictional course though isn't it...? Therefore you can play with whatever you want, regarding yardages.

I've done my best to gain the right sizes for what I'm seeking, but it's loosely based on a real course. However, i know it plays short, so I'm happy to see a guestimate of longer holes. Placing a drawn out 18 holes or using a top image, means ALL the holes will be relative. Maybe have a play with some of the issues you're likely to face when designing the toughest hole of the 18. I know I'm finding some fun issues to navigate that hopefully I have better solutions for..

I'm actually enjoying the trial and error of it all...

It's just a 2m high flag that I knocked up...

Here it is if you want to d/l and use

I have found that I had to use the 'Toon - Basic' shader to get it to show up well enough in Unity

The Toon shader... not showing in my selection... either I'm missing "shader" know-how or it's one you have specifically.. ?

Thanks for the share...

I've been playing a little more and added some blending...  Here's a shot of the 11th...

Nice. Dreaming and building it sometimes is at least as entertaining as actually playing it...

CF shapes will cover up most of this, btw. The blending from one to the other can be set inside the Forge. Just so you don't go all out on this too soon...

The textures look great and you will be able to import them into CF if you want. Are these just diffuse textures or did you jazz them up with a normal map?

I've always enjoyed the building over the playing.  When I designed for TW, the only time that I played the game was to test the course...

They are just diffuse textures that I used on one of my TW courses.  Yep, I know that most of this is likely to be covered up by CF, but my theory is that if I practice now, it'll be easier to blend the non CF areas later :)

I've been doing a bit more on the course today...  I've changed the textures, added some grass and some trees (I purchased a pack from the asset store)
