Available soon... the "don't take shit away without explanation" common sense clause.  Available for free.

What key do I press for camup on the keyboard please?  Is it for a vertical cam?  I am just starting to use this feature and use wsad keys for forward, back, laft and right.  I also use the mouse.

I'm not aware of any key presses that will raise and lower the camera.  But the scroll wheel on your mouse will do it.  Otherwise just use the mouse to pitch up and down while using the direction keyboard keys to make the camera move forward.

The problem with using the down key is that it only goes down so far before it bounces back up to waist level.

You have to pitch camera down then move forward to get below that.

If there is another way I'd love to know how.

There's not. And you're not alone! I'd love for it to be allowed to get down much closer to the ground.

What I can't figure out is why the camera can't go lower when just using the up/down action, as it's "allowed" to go down lower as shown by the hack that many of us do (and you mentioned) about backing out, angling and then coming back in carefully.

Makes me want to scream when I "bounce" off the terrain a couple times in a row and have to start over each time...
