I just want to know that modifying items outside the UI does not offer the possibility of cheating.
You cannot change any console settings that would enable someone to cheat.

I have no idea why it seems to 'piss' you and others off.
I mentioned it several times already. We were tired of hearing about it in every conversation about the console. Now that Mike interjected, we can lay this to rest. Finally.

Is this broken now?
It stopped working for me using the AutoExec method for some reason

Mike, could you (or anyone) please post a link to the original file again?
The link in the original post appears to be dead.
Thank you
I've created the file from scratch but for some reason it isn't taking on launch as it used to.
(I switched SSD's and started fresh with a new Win10 again)
Nothing changed on PG end did it?
The Autoexec thing still works for others, yeah?
Problem resolved.

I don't have a link to the file that Mike originally provided, but I could create a link to a file that works... see below. The contents of my file (which I believe works) is as follows (I have a blank line at the end of the file, although I really don't know if that is required):
--novid True
--game_autoTendDistance 3
--sky_lengthOfDay 720
--sky_locationName Calgary,AB
--cam_sensX 0.1
--cam_sensY 0.1
--cam_forwardSpeed 2
--cam_sideSpeed 1
--cam_upSpeed 0.5
--cam_flybySpeed 0.35
--a_effectsVolume 0.90
--a_inGameVolume 0.90
Here is a link to my file, which you can edit to your preferences:

Superb!
Thank you so much Armand!
May I ask - Are these ones needed to make the settings stick how you like? (vs in game controls)
--game_autoTendDistance 3
--sky_lengthOfDay 720
--sky_locationName Calgary,AB
--a_effectsVolume 0.90
--a_inGameVolume 0.90

Yes, that is correct. The game settings probably stay where they are at, but just to be certain, I've included those you quoted in my autoexec.cfg file. The length of day and location have been hit and miss in the past (mostly miss, but I think they've been staying for the last few patches). I'm not certain, though, as I played my first round of PG in 145 days today.

I'm not sure if the link was fixed or not since your post, Buck, but I have no problem downloading the file from "Perfect Cloud". I didn't try it until just now (I didn't to go the first post of the thread until just now).

I just downloaded it also.

I shared it on Dropbox if you still can't get it.

Could have just been a temp problem with the PerfectCloud.
The original link is working for me now as well
Thanks all

wjf, when you click on the link above for the slowcam.cfg file, you will be taken to a dropbox page. Click on the blue download button and then click on Direct Download. This will save the file to your computer, probably into your \Downloads folder. From there you will need to rename the file from slowcam.cfg to autoexec.cfg.
After it's renamed, you need to copy the file (select it, and then press CTRL+c). Then, navigate to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Config\
and then press CTRL+v to paste it into that folder.
The file linked above changes the speed for the F5 camera. I replied to your request to speed up the flyovers, and at the same time I've provided an option to speed up the F5 camera. Have a look here, if you haven't already:
