Well we are in the process of Building Royal Troon.  Waiting on a conversation with the GM for permissions / licensing.

if i find a discount on the price would it be ok to post it here since the game just got released? i like a dev give some input because i don't  want to undercut on what steam is offering..

 

edit: i should've started the topic as" i found a lower price." i wont post/tell were/price till i get some word on if its ok to do so..

Very curious. To the best of my knowledge, the only place to purchase this game is through Steam. I really question whether a purchase from another site would even work since, to the best of my knowledge, you need Steam to validate an authentic copy.

Perhaps he's just talking about getting a discount on steam refill cards?
I did that at one time and have been working off of the steam balance I bought for a long time now.

no cards ,legit pc buys, i use paypal also. they have the new doom pc game on sale for $35.....

Well, since PP hasn't contracted with anyone else to sell it (unless they didn't announce it), I don't see how they could sell it.  Why don't you tell us where it is so we can all look?

I completely agree with that posters conclusion…
The game is only 35 bucks and you're going to spend hundreds upon hundreds of hours with it...
 

Please everyone just support the developers at their very fair retail price… Please?

I am glad you are enjoying it all Ian. I am still disappointed there is no real powerstroke equivalent and I am playing RTS-C instead, but do not enjoy it anywhere near as much or play as well as I do champ powerstroke in Links.

Links will stay installed on my PC for the foreseeable future as I prefer it in many ways and there are a larger variety of courses to play ( more non-US for certain   ). I also help run a tour at LSPN so that keeps me quite occupied.

Same here Stephen!   Links is still a quality game which is enjoyed by family and friends.. The biggest factor to why it continues to be installed on my PC?   Fun.. pure and simple!  A few of us remaining Linksters have made it a "friday night thing" get together on C3, have a few beers and a few laughs...

 

I do enjoy PG, but unfortunately, sometimes I find it a burden while playing along with cannot convince the same folks I play with on friday nights to buy the game.. Anyway, I know many of the items will be added and bugs fixed in the future, it will get better.   So for now, I am enjoying the best of both worlds in both games.
