Great to see the in game drop/rehit option implemented! Really important that one. Thanks for continuing fine tuning and updates.

Is there a possibility to implement an anti-cheat code for the mouse-swings as well? I think it would be fair and appropriate. 3C has it, now RTS-C has it .... if possible RTS-M and MS should have one too. In a way it could be called "protecting the field". And it would probably prevent discussions about mouse swing-scores from the beginning.

Edging could be a factor to get a straight swing plane and a perfect contact (no heel/toe hits). The ratio still would be in effect, so it's not easy to gain a big advantage. Bud edging could be detected similarly to the no axis controllers.

A straight swing plain can be achieved by practice, i achive that maybe 8 out of 10 times. But multiple 0 mishit heel/toe in a row is very, very difficult to achieve using a mouse - it's almost impossible to do it two shots in a row. So if a player is able to do that regularly (perfect swing plane + 0 mishit heel/toe) it would certainly be an indication of edging. Which would be cheating.

My point was that it would only be fair trying to implement anti-cheat codes for all swing devices. I play RTS-M myself. If i knew that the game can detect guys who are edging it would guarantee a level playing field.

It would be good to see what "custom" settings players are using?.

I am too busy having fun playing this game to worry about such small things.

Prepare for the onslaught of heavy opposition!  I agree with you on this (shocker).  It's been discussed a lot prior to your arrival and it's been a rather heated discussion.

HOWEVER... since the startup of OGT this has mostly gone by the wayside I think as their tournaments are providing an outlet for competitive play in a fashion that makes it clear what settings people are using since they are forced to use the tournament's difficulty settings.

This still occurring? (Don't play much multi players anymore do to ancient computer). I thought host picked the setup for all playing? Anyway don't want to start discussing it, just a comment. Something for the devs to do when they get bored :)

I'd like to see a new game mode where everyone accuses each other of cheating and whacks them over the head with their driver.

RTSC, RTSM, and MS will be affected by the anti cheat when the update is pushed.  :)

NOTE:  This is early.  nothing is perfect so more tweaking will probably be needed.

I can not get the game to update to 1.4.1.1. I've restarted steam and verified files, nothing.

The first patch to 1.4.1 will be released shortly.

LOL!  One thing I know is 22 hours 45 min. since the announcement.  So shortly is longer than that.  :)

No worry it gets here when it gets here.  That's soon enough for me.             Just poking fun @ PP.
