Well yeah J, that would be good. But are you a BARE golfer?

 

The beauty of BARE is that there is no stuff on the screen which gives you nice immersion. I had a full multiplay round with StoneComet yesterday which was a wonderful experience. It was very 'real' especially with voice chat and we talked ourselves through the round and how we dealt with the shots we were faced with. The F5 cam for the guy who wasn't playing the shot was a nice innovation. I would position myself where a real opponent would stand and even lined up my putts while Stone was putting.

 

But it's not always convenient to multiplay so it would be interesting to have recorded rounds on Twitch to play against. 

 

So J...if you care to record a Ballyneal BARE-style I would certainly like to play against it. I'm only a Pro level player but it doesn't matter if you played TourPro if that's what you prefer because I would get the Pro assist advantage.

 

I have an ill-formed idea that there could be a data base of recorded rounds for people to challenge to give our golf rounds a less lonely experience. 

 

Anyway I'll get on to Twitch and see what it's all about.

I will mess around tomorrow with BARE and see if I can bare it. I could set it up to my big TV in the morning too see the green without making the wife too mad lol

In LINKS2003 you have the ability to record a round as well as being able to play a round against that recorded round.

Back in the early 90s, seven of us used to get up every Sat morning play a recorded round at a specific course for that weekend, then send their recorded round to the other six players.  I was the record keeper, so I would watch all six rounds and record the stats.  We were the "Saturday Morning Fun Bunch".
