See,now here is a view using Bing Maps but using the Aerial View. No 5th bunker. And they say it's easy....

Both the aerial view here and the earlier Birds Eye view are dated 2016. Go figure.. What to do, hmmmm.

The last one you posted is the more recent pic Axe. They added turf around some of the tees and cleaned up the scrub a year or two back.

yeah lol what to do, i'll stick with the 4 bunkers anyway.  I'll be happy if it just feels like scottsdale,  i'm doing the elevations from google earth ground view, not sure how old my google earth is but the course is a building site..literally!

Merry Christmas, DoGgz!

Check your PM for a download link. This is just a BETA version and will improve as need be. Should get you started in the right direction anyhow. Each modular unit is 366 tris and has 2 materials. 1 material for base texture and 2nd material for transparent railings. Logos are decals. I am interested to know how FPS will be when the entire hole 16 stadium is built out. Kind of lonely with no spectators. We'll have to think about the pluses and minuses on that.

Yeah I agree DPRoberts is very good with structure building been loving watching some of his videos.

Clubhouse? ;)

This is what I loved about my old day's of designing, I never did structures but the gr8 communities that we have, there are ppl that love to do it  and will help out others.. Very nice of DPRoberts..

Very generous indeed!

DoGgz, please promise not to add local sounds of "baba-booey!",  "mashed potatoes!", or whatever else is being yelled during tournaments these days here in the states.

Although it would be more realistic unfortunately.

Lol he's started now so he'll have to finish, i want clubhouse, custom tees, hell he can even design the flags  :D  :D

But seriously, i am one grateful puppy right now, i really hope i can now do the course justice, only have 3 holes before beta.

Just a report on possible FPS issues with the new stands, i can report that stood on the 16th tee gave me 60 fps, no issues for me at all..brilliant how they look so good without causing a hit, i'm so impressed.

I might be biased but looking great! I'm more geared for assisting these great designs than doing myself.

I see the structure as providing you statues as Michaelangelo would and instant gratification. But, the course is like Sistine Chapel, might take me 5 years.

I will do other parts for your build as well. No promises on what but you'll be happy is my guess.

You have been a great contributor of courses and I was inspired by your Lost Tracks. I share because I feel you've helped me in ways as well. Even if you are unaware.

One suggestion that I'll post when I get home is to add height to the straw surround for tee boxes only. I've done it for Kiawah and it looks like pelts of grass laid on the soil. The effect will get you closer to the pictures I see of Scottsdale.

Looking beyond excellent DoGgz.  Will be a fun one to play I'm sure, great risk/reward type holes.

@DoGgz:

Looking excellent!

May I ask how those mountains look when the sun is the other direction? (in your version)

Might just be the lighting angle, but the hills/mountains are far more brown that shown in that screen above.

I noticed that colors can be all out of whack w/ sat imagery when I was doing a huge batch of tile creation (sat imagery scenery) for X-Plane last year.

That 16th looks the biz. Great job all involved.

Being a picky twat, I think the tees would look better without that burnt grass fringe. It looks great on the bunkers, but I don't personally think the tees need it. But, it is DoGgz's recreation and he has final say. Either way, I will be playing once available.

;)
