Any real life courses or will they be fictional?

Heh, if they're a Mike Jones created course, they might as well be considered real

I think the courses will be the next big complaint, I find it stupid these owners of real courses want to get paid just to use it in a game. I loved playing Baniff Springs [Canada] in the morning with my cup of coffee. The mountains in background ect. made it a peaceful place. Anyhow just my 2 cents.

Do you also find it stupid they are charging green fees?  This is about as silly as it gets.

So I guess it is safe to assume we will have 6 fantasy courses to start.  Will be looking forward to more and more courses to play as the game/sim evolves!

Thankfully, I do not believe that the 6 courses included in the game will be "fantasy" courses but rather "fictional" courses.

We have had PG versions of Crystal Pines and Shadowlands during pre-Early Access ALPHA testing, so I'm sure these will be included in the Early Access release.

If I was actually playing the course, no. I mean it's a game. I'd look at it more like free adverstisement. If you wanna feed the greed knock yourself out.  I posted the steam release info on Guru3D games section to get word out.

Has the copyright issue with real courses been sorted out?

 

One of the first things I'm going to do with Course Forge is import some of my APCD designs; one of these will be Blackwolf Run so I'm wondering if I would need to call it something else.

i just want to play here on this, my utterly favorite scene!!! - is it a real or a fantasy course do you think? either way I just wanna hit the 'extremely overcast' button and play here - I swear I just heard an electric door slide shut from the game 'doom' loL!!

I think that was a fictional layout MJ did in 2013 just to show what the CF could do in Unity. Remember him putting some pics up (including the one you have posted) in May 2013.

 

I think he called it Floodlands, though could be wrong.

So far TGC are getting away with distributing trademarked course names. Personally I wouldn't worry.

Great News PP!! But i read in Steam Forums that the Game starts only with 5-6 Courses first.

How long we have to wait for more Courses then? Mike wrotes in Steam that there are more then 30 Courses finished why you start then only with 5-6?

What's your plans/Timetable to finish the Game?

 

 

Actually AJ wrote that we are creating 30 courses this year for TV work, if we get licensing deals for these PGA tour courses we can then start to make them available for PerfectGolf.

Not that it is a concern but I think as a reminder the focus needs to be on ... what is it called game content or game mechanics .. I mean we need a great fantastic golf game BEFORE we get just another golf game that could have been so much but is just a game with a lot of courses. Not that this needs to be said but I said it ooops. I'm sure the Perfect Golf Peeps are focusing on the right stuff rather than courses .... that reminds me of a story ... this golf ball came ...
