tracers here is what i get without the VPN running

2h6a8mf.jpg

That is definitely a routing issue and it's at the PP end.  It looks like an out of date bogofilter at ai.net. PP need to contact their hosting provider and alert them to the issue. (It might not be a bogofilter, it might be some other issue, but it's definitely a routing problem and it's defintiely at ai.net.)

I haven't had problems connecting to the forum or seeing downloaded courses in the game.  I am in New Jersey using Optimum as an ISP.  Just for information if it will help with solving the problem.  I am not running VPN.

This was the first time I used PowerShell tracert and was curious what it looked like for some other sites I use all the time.  I connected to  Amazon.com on the 30th try.  Walgreens.com did not connect in 30 hops twice but I was able to connect and login to both sites right after the test.  To me tracert does not seem to be good indicator of being able to connect to a site.  PerfectParallel.com connected in less hops than either Amazon or Walgreens and I have never had problems connecting to either site.

An OGT member had this problem.   It started working once he rebooted his router.  But apparently there's also a routing issue with certain countries like the Netherlands.

I've been having the same problem here lately. At least once or twice a week perfect parallel is down for 8 to 12 hours at a time. I'm in  Pennsylvania..  I do have a VPN so next time it happens, I will have to try switching to another server. I've never thought about switching  servers before. I really wish  they would do something so we can play off-line and access the user created courses.

and nothing has been looked into enough till now to get it figured out it may take a few.

I have had the exact same problems as dave has had, and when i saw he got access to all the courses etc using a VPN i disconnected my ISP and reconnected using a hotspot i have.
This worked for me so i kept my game open and reconnected to my ISP again and no problems since.
Dont know any other solutions to this problem but its affecting quite a few people.

you know what is a shame, i spent most of yesterday trying to figure out this connection problem

and everything leads back to PP. so now i have to spend today dealing with the people at Ainet to see if this is something on their end

and im not even a customer of their's.

hey PP you guys need to give better support then we are getting here.

and hey we don't need any enablers in here making

excuses for why this issue is being neglected.

well this last outage was mostly the same as posted

cept a VPN would not even help me to get to the designer courses.

running a VPN now due to im downloading the old TV series Wild Wild West

50gb, but who don't love old westerns. so i will check without it later.

on Monday through the VPN i could only get in by using servers in Brazil, and Poland.

i would think something is amiss in the routing, and whatever it was that knocked their server totaley off line yesterday.

well i still need to use a VPN to get to either of the PP sites, and access the designer courses

still telling me it is a PP issue

I cannot access this site, the Beta site nor anything related to PP for the past month on my home ISP. I have reported this to Andrew with no response. The only way I can reach this site is on my company network or my cell network.

I am a bit put off with the lack of attention or response to this issue.

It's very odd that this hasn't been fixed. Perfect Parallel is not a hosting or network company so they presumably can't fix it directly. But assuming they've reported it to their hosting provider, which appears to be ai.net, they should expect a resolution or a very, very good excuse within a few hours.
