Much better!
One question - Is the 1060 a 3GB or 6GB model?
I've had several 1060's and the 6GB's always performed better (and somewhat noticeably depending upon the game)

Always better with 6GB of GPU memory over 3 any day....
See how much updating your 5400 RPM drive to 7200 RPM and you should be good to go!

I think you'll be very pleased with that setup. Let us know how you like it once you get it!

Why the hd? With the two 256gb SSDs, you should have plenty of disk space. If you make one of the SSDs your C: drive, you will be amazed how fast your system is, and that 5200rpm hd will just slow you down. Just MHO.

He only has 1 SSD and 1 HDD and it depends what he is using it for to how much space is enough.
The GTA5 game is over 70gb ! That would use up around a third of the space alone on a 256gb SSD !!!
What is plenty of space to some will be insufficient for others.

This being XBox One X launch day, can you imagine what an XBox One X enhanced version of JNPG 2 would look and play like on a 4K HDR display via the "X"!?

What are you primary uses for it right now?
Certain games you are playing right now that will get a big bump I take it?

It's really going to take something huge to pull me back into the console market. I'm intrigued by the XB1X but I'm still completely satisfied with my current setup for all my gaming needs. HOWEVER, when I look at the cost of my setup it's completely ridiculous so maybe if I had it to do all over again with current technology I might go a different route.

I wish EA would make NHL for PC again.
It's the only console game I play (and I only even bother with PS3 version still anyhow) as I much prefer my powerful PC setup.
Speaking of which, CoD: WWII is very nice and performs wonderfully!
Just digging into that one

Graphics sure do keep coming along..
Lighting is amazing and the reality is - umm - almost too real sometimes.
On the opening beach scene I looked over to my squad mate and his head was blown off and blood/parts all over my screen.
Not much was left to the imagination - was "shocking" to say the least...

No, but I'm planning to in March of next year. I didn't want to buy one until I had a 4K HDR display to use with it. I get my annual bonus check in March, and it's looking like to will cover the cost of both right now.
All I had to know is that Forza 7 got the full 4K/HDR/60 FPS treatment to sell me on it! I'm sure there will be others that will garner my attention, like NBA 2K 18 and hopefully, JNPG 2. Lots of current XBox One games are getting significant boosts in performance and appearance from what I'm reading. I think there's more to be said for the benefits of the X than meets the eye.

Needed a UHD 4K BluRay player and the only game I play is TGC2 (mostly on PC) and hoping X1X allows me to have a similar experience on my 65" 4K HDR Samsung 8000 series and Denon 7.2 / Klipsch sound system.
4K UHD BR players are $200-$250, so it made the justification much easier.

I just got a while back an Xbox One S so it will be a while before I dive into the X version. I might wait till PlayStation comes out with their equal to the X as it will happen and then I would have a new one from each of the gaming companies. Next big purchase for me will be a 4K TV and that is what I will hook all of this stuff into and even my PC I think as I am getting real used to sitting back in my chair and playing and not have to be right up on the screen. Lots of neat new toys out there to get.

Sony already has their answer....the PS4 Pro.....
There will likely be a PS5, but I don't see that hitting the market before 2020.....
