This whole Trackman thing bugs me to death. Their freaking simulator is at a price point that there is no way I will invest in it. Mike Jones says that he is no longer part of the decision making process. Meanwhile we get no word whatsoever from Trackman, or really take it to the bank info from Mike Jones. Perhaps Perfect Parallel sold us all out and they just aren't saying. Yeah, I know Mike, this speculation serves no one but our own ego? Really? Well WE WANNA KNOW FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH. WE ARE TIRED OF SITTING AROUND WONDERING WHAT'S NEXT FOR US. TRACKMAN OWES US THAT MUCH EVEN IF WE MATTER ABOUT AS MUCH AS A MOSQUITO TO THEM.

Same here. I know PP or Trackman don't owe us anything but I think we've been treated quite shabbily. They obviously don't give a toss about their loyal customers.

Does make you wonder if there's been any trackman conversation about "that forum community…" and what was said.

Given that forum users are passionate and generally loyalists, I can imagine they said…

"Don't worry about them, they will be there when we release a new game no matter what"

Or

"They require too much support bandwith for too little revenue… Don't worry about them and let's focus on our simulator users"

The way Trackman is acting right now via nda's and pure, utter silence is one of the reasons I have no faith in PG2 being any better than this game.  Trackman's approach already smacks of the big egos at EA Sports.  It does not inspire much confidence of a well managed game to come, at least not for me.

Trackman did not buy PG or PP for JNPG for the PC or consoles.

They bought it for simulators. Period.

They owe us nothing. Not sure how that is an ego thing but purely a business mindset.

Lets not try to make it anything more than a business decision and mindset only affecting a tiny PC Golf game community.

I agree with you completely. That’s why I believe that PG2 will only be released for simulators. If that ends up being their business decision, so be it. I just don’t understand the long delay for a definitive announcement.

Are the simulator troops doing any beta testing for it yet?? Ya, I know if I was told, I’ve have to be shot.

I would love to be proven wrong Richard, but the complete lack of ANY updates regarding anything definitive on the PC/Consoles tells me everything I need to know.

So basically what you are saying is PG2 is dead if not for a simulator?  Therein lies my point, it is rude to keep silent on their intentions.

I haven't seen a simulator yet. But I can confidently say this, if it looks as crappy as JNPG looks on my 55" flat screen TV then I really don't see the big interest in simulators.

I don't think anyone really believes that they owe us nothing. I think an explanation would have been courteous at the very least!
To say that it's a business decision not to inform the forum of what's happening with PG is wrong and shows no respect for PP's forum members.

Wonder why when Trackman have purchased PP to incorporate PG/PG2 with their ball tracking devices in their simulators, they still have pictures all over their website of the simulators running the TruGolf E6 software.

I would have thought that would have been one of the first things they would have updated.

They may wish to keep enquiries under control they have a firm release date/marketing plan/new photos/...
Plus there are places on Trackman's sites showing PG and even pricing.

Why should they be concerned about us, only 72 people bothered to vote and only 65 of those would be prepared to pay for PG2. If I were in business I would not be concerned about such a small amount of interested buyers.

Yeah but we have a small number that even participate on the forum anyhow.

Considering that, I think it's good that 72 voted at all, and 90% said they'd be willing to pay something!

I wouldn't worry too much about the details of the poll and how much people would be willing to pay as it was all speculative.
If the ownership and developers were here pitching a cogent and exciting vision for the future, I'm quite sure the amount people might be willing to pay would rise.

Is there really?

I had dug all over trying to find stuff like that in the past.
Can you link to any of it?

I want one of these:  the bar, the furniture, the simulator, and the view.

Me too. But I can't justify the expense. Besides it would take up too much space in my small house.

Me either..
I do see the word "perfect" a fair bit in other contexts though..
It's all setting up for them to roll out "Perfect Golf" to complement that marketing.

@shimonko - Can you link us to where you're seeing the PG shots/mentions/etc?

That is mistake number one for many businesses, not being concerned about a small amount of sales.  It usually is the small amount of sales that add up to the most for companies.
