Did something just change at OGT?

Are you now required to login to download courses?

(Many don't have a login there)

You're pretty involved there, yeah?

Could please ask Z-max to pop in here and explain the change?

Thx

If this is the new norm going forward, I'd like to politely request that course designers also post their Mega download links here once their courses are release ready.

Thank you in advance

Buck, have you ever check this out? PGLS course checker. It works great if you want to keep your whole list up to date.

Why does it not pass Windows SmartScreen?

(I really only use Windows for gaming as of the last 10 years)

I'm a bit turned off when the first step is "disable checking this piece of software" - lol

In any case - I really hope we can just establish a norm of course designers posting their own MEGA download links here.

Perhaps we can have a running list that is pinned of the course name + MEGA link next to it for ease.

I'm about 99% sure that whatever OGT has PGLS has. Plus PGLS has some other beta courses that OGT doesn't have.

Yes, Microsoft and Apple acquired OGT for $6.3 Billion.  Zmax last seen on the Amalfi Coast Italy in his private 197 foot yacht named "Nero".

Well I'm guessing with that 6.3 billion, He should be able to go out and purchase his Trackman now.  :D

For me an advantage of accessing OGT Courses page is that they publish the official Course Scorecards which PGLS does not.  It would be nice if PGLS could also provide the scorecards images, particularly since they do provide some additional courses that are not released through OGT.

Wouldn’t surprise me as this post has been here for a while and you still haven’t heard anything. Maybe Trackman bought em?

I think probably what's going is that, you're right, Trackman bought them to begin the integration of OGT features into the 80% done build of PG2, which is set to release this coming Summer on PC and next holiday season on consoles..

Except that they always have the wrong tee colors and often have wrong hole information too.

That may be so Matt, but I am mainly interested in hole par and index information and that has typically been accurate.  Individual hole yardage from the different tees are really not that important to me as that varies with pin location and is available as you play each hole.  Granted this information is presented in game by selecting the scorecard, but I like to save an image of the scorecard that I can print out and use in conjunction with a tournament score spreadsheet that I developed in Excel to use in recording my round scores and stats.

I'd be happy to make scorecards for mine, although I'm not sure where the yardage figures come from exactly. It'd be nice to have some control over those numbers, though, especially when doing a real course. I remember the GBC game used to let you customize a scorecard; that was a pretty cool feature.

I have always assumed that the yardages on the score card was the average distances eg: from the tee to the center of the green.  I think that is the practice with IRL scorecards.
