I changed the plan a bit and want to complete it a bit more before a next release. There was still one part of the course covering 5-6 holes with that i had to transfer to Blender to prepare it for some vertex blended shading like on the other 2/3, doing custom cartpaths and whatever. And yes, i don't have the most straight forward workflow... Shouldn't have said "soon" again probably. After i did i started feeling a bit in a hurry which kills the fun a bit. Stupid me...

On the real life counterpart there is a double stage clubhouse pool so i'll try to include something similar. Reflections are a bit screwed up atm due to the clipping setting which is defined to the much lower laying lakes and ponds on the course. These are some shots where it's not too obvious...

Looks very nice Birdie -- hope you don't get snapped up by Trackman and then we never get a final version of Manila!

They are just there from a test run and thus not positioned correctly for now.

Don't worry, i'm too slow for Trackman.

3d rough all over the course driven by a new lighting setup coming to your test drives. Could also finally split back my three monsterous six hole meshes in Blender by materials and in small peaces while keeping the normals intact. Thanks to some custom normals transfer which i didn't get working in the past. Offers some performance options and makes adding colliders for the grounds really simple again. Before i had to prepare extra meshes for colliders and these stupid things...

Nothing really new on my greens. Still the only parts that (have to) use the PP layers.

... On the other hand, since the first preview probably everything has changed...

I don't recall the first preview having that tiled look on the greens, but it's been a while since I've played it.

Some when in between I retouched the greens to better match the surrounding custom materials. I think I just used my tee maps as a base in the PP layers green and used the fresnel a tiny bit(which I normally never liked) and added some additional normals for the mowing details or so. I think DP did this already some years ago and on Bortimus' latest course it got my attention to add these mower details.

Does this mean we can awaite a new alpha in a reasonable short time?
