Ted,

That's the advanced version of the new  "hacker harry"  animation with the PG2 club-ball interaction model.  How did you hack this?  JK

It reminds me of old HS days (back in the 70's) when my soccer team mates and I got together to play "flick it" soccer.  Little plastic mini players on hemispheres that you "flicked" into position on a felt field,  like today's Foosball tables.  The olden days equivalent of the sports jock D&D board.

We'll see, if this shader grass thing doesn't pay off I don't see it going anywhere. You need sustainability, you need renewed interest and that's why it was so critical for Mike and Andrew to speak once in awhile here to keep our hopes higher.

You can hate me all you want but I have played tons of golf games and the last two once they get there game out the developers don't hardly want to talk to you again. The last game I just came to here from just shut there servers down 2 months ago so that game "World Golf Challenge" will never be able to be played again because it would have been to hard to code for us to put it on a server ourselves to keep it going (I call bullcrap on that one). I don't trust developers anymore who don't speak period, I've been through this far to much....

Alternative to Trackman for people on a budget.

A trip down memory lane Ted as I played that as a kid 50 years ago.  I rue the day it vanished - girls and booze seemed to be more important at the time.  Now the reverse is true - funny how life comes round like this.  The version was called 'Arnold Palmer Pro Shot Golf ' made by Marx I believe.  You could interchange the clubs at the end of Arnold.  Absolutely brilliant as a game in my formative early teens.

Ah man, that's a wonderful thing. Interchangeable clubs!!! I would have organised neighbourhood tourneys in a special backyard course with that as a kid.

Very much "meh" and just "more of the usual" to my eyes..
Don't get me wrong - this stuff looks "fine", but that's about it.

No water reflections, still no volumetric grass and honestly nothing I see here even sniffs at what RobC just put out for the Spanish Bay beta. The planting work Rob did is unreal.

The 3rd party course designers here are KILLING it.
So awesome..

There’s nothing I can say at this point to get Mike to hate me more than he already does.
Worry not.
