I just want people to realize it's nothing more than an input device and you can have a simulator if you really want it and have ceiling height. It may not resemble Trump's install but it will still be enjoyable.

Most people start in their garage.

Certified pre owned or used from OGT discord is the way to go.

This definitely seems to be the BMW or Mercedes of Sim golf.

Like I have been saying a few times before, they cater to the golf clubs and pga pros or the DOCTORS because they are the only ones that can afford a trackman simulator. Why do you think they don't give a crap about us anymore? We don't make them no money at all pretty much and even the little bit we do it's probably not worth the effort.

Mike and Andrew are just gold diggers, i'm not a fan of them anymore.

I don't joke....

They cared about us at one time to get the game release and after that they sold us out to make money. These two were very well respected members of a great golfing community. GREED always wins!!

If I knew how to code good enough I would build my own golf game because I have had many ideas written down for many, many months now. The main one is the golf game built around "WAGA" my own creation and it involves many live world events. An in-depth stat system and some system to keep track of something like the fedex cup but not totally.

This would also have simulator hookup because yes how can you not include it because it is a great way to play golf if you have the room and money to do so. I've also envisioned FPS "first person perspective" because if you have never used it when done well it would blow your mind!

I've got so many idea's I can't write them all down and also give away anything just in case this does become something and not a dream.  :D

I have 5 e-books already i'm reading up on. Not sure how much a kickstarter funding would help either...

You bet. We’ve been doing the advertising of JNP Simulator for PP since day 1. Of course, we also advertise our tour and services.

I think I saw zmax driving around in his Ferrari the other day. They are making a killing on us. License plate $20-at-time. Seriously when you see all the work the OGT guys do, the $20 per season really is a steal. None of them are getting rich on it.

Trackman Doesn't have PG2, no one has PG2 , so

I don't think anyone has been abandoned just yet.

I'm all for making money and I don't see a problem

with selling something you built to do so.

The problem is going to be having to purchase a Trackman

system in order to use CF2 and PG2. This will also be true

for the Non-Trackman Sim players as I see it.

I just hope they include the community and it's designers in the

equation somehow, otherwise we are stuck with CF and PG1.

in this thread, I have learned that outside golf is near death....because trackman purchased perfect parallel 2 years ago.  Oh and also, that Trackmans are laughably expensive at over $20k, but then again....20 bucks is too!

And on top of what DP is saying, that $4-$5k experience is better than Trackman's Virtual Golf experience.

Trackman's Virtual Golf is JNPG Lite - no course creator, no community courses, no community, no thriving league, lots of options removed as is needed for the non-tinkering audience buying Trackmans. Room size requirements beyond what you'll find in the standard house.

Trackman's improving with indoor spin and short putt measurement, but it's still not as playable as even a SkyTrak. Competitive sim golf is pointless without a minimum accuracy level and the ability to putt.

What you do have with Trackman is at least financial backing to keep the PG servers open and a possibility of JNPG2, compared to the inevitable 'Sorry guys - we have to close." that gamers routinely see.

Links 2003 became sim software. WGC 2011 became sim software. EA couldn't make it work. HB Studios charge for what are essentially updates, but that's what it takes to survive. It's a tough gig, especially when people playing the game every day for years steamroll any proposal to even somewhat respectfully pay for that entertainment.

The best part of all is that we are all free to choose playing golf in one form or another.  I really like JNPG and play it everyday.  I also play two other (PC classic golf games).  Golf simulators are very cool, tried an early version of one at a sporting good store years ago. I can see how people with money and space would have a super fun time at home. I also understand the growth of indoor golf. Pro shops/sports bars/corporate convention centers and the Professional Golfers being able to practice year-round in their specially built, sim golf room in their homes or at their favorite country clubs. Huge market for simulated golf and technology has arrived to make it an awesome experience.

Plus: All types of golf gaming is going to spike due to good old TW's comeback too!

But PC golf will always be my virtual golf experience.  Not going to be a console player - computers are just too much fun to work, play and learn with whenever we want.

Most of us were very fortunate to buy Perfect Golf, the early release version for $15.00 USD (approx) a few years ago.  I like both tournament sites and feel fortunate that we have choices. Both sites are safe, no harsh reviews for any site associated with JNPG.  I am saying associated, not affiliated - big difference.
