I totally appreciate that people do not want to mess with their PC's  My PC is mainly for gaming, i have a laptop that i use for DJ, karaoke and business things, but my PC is purely gaming and intensive applications and its kept running smooth for that.

A bit to anal but oh well..lol, My PC specs are 6 years old and I don't have to mess with anything and my gameplay is smooth for any game I play as well AND I PLAY in 4K!

You don't need to turn ---- off in services, you just need some better computer parts sometimes. I have Windows 10 that MS gave everyone for free, I have never formatted since that's how good it is and how good it runs.

I wish more people would put there PC specs in when they say they are having troubles with something as it might help figure things out.

Another point on the slider problem with 3C that I forgot before. Why is there no slider problem on the second click. It's only on the third click.

Tell me about my 6 year old specs then Joe but don't analyse them as of today because my slider problem started about 3 yeras ago at which point the specs were more effective. My processor is the same as yours. My graphics card is adequate and my 16GB RAM is at the right level.

Just a thought - Check see if - pause render - is set to (on) in setting under graphics.

I am not going to mess about with my PC, as i'm no techy so i will just put up with it when it happens .
Thanks you all for the mind boggling information.
I do appreciate all your efforts to help me & any other player who gets this problem.

As an IT professional thank you for recognizing you shouldn't fiddle with your computer. So many times users have attempted to fix hardware or network settings and caused me more work.

Not having slider probs at the moment, but when I did in the past I always wondered about that 2nd click. Good question.

Yes, that was one of the tweaks I made a long time ago. No benefit.

I've only been playing since May 10th. What is this "slide by" that is in this thread? I'm using the swing meter with the pointer. I have never seen a stutter or "slide by".

Thank you.

The slide is when you do the third click and the arrow moves past the six (snap) automatically.  If you have a colored meter then the down-swing color would go past the snap.

I looked at your components in your signature and because they are excellent for the demands of this game, it's not surprising you are not experiencing any of the slides or stutters.  I would guess your Internet download speed is probably 50 to 100Mbps as well. A very low up/down throughput speed can cause shakey game playing results as well.

General Knowledge:

Megabits pers second is how fast your Internet speed is measured.  Megabytes per second is how fast a file downloads from the Internet or transfers from one area of your operating system to another. Or from one storage device to another.

A good site for anyone to test their Internet speeds is:  https://www.speedtest.net

I test my speed all the time. Download 111 Upload 11 ISP Spectrum  I don't use the colors..too distracting. Just a clear meter with the pointer.

Fun fact: the game uses very little bandwidth.

You want low latency (ping) and no packet loss.

Another fun fact: When your ISP sells you some huge gigabit connection, they are selling you bandwidth, not necessarily low latency and low packet loss.
