The future of online Golf is why I always wanted a hard copy of the game. At least if we had a hard copy we could let the game live likes Links2003 but without we are done when server is done. If there is no follow-up to TGC 2019 then we might be done as we have to face the fact that the base of video golf is older and most younger people don't play.

Would be really amazing if “Tamuchan” released a patch that would allow third-party courses to work even without a steam connection

(assuming PG1 gets the boot at some point - obviously official continuing support is best)

Quit F'ing Talking?

edit1: Also, urbandictionary.com is your friend, and many times side-splitting funny.

edit2: I was wrong! Glad I looked it up.

QFT is slang for Quoted For Truth or that they agree with the quote.

Thx guys - glad it’s the latter and the former that was mentioned.

I’d thought about “quit f’ing talking” and was hoping nobody was really saying that

My landlord was buzzing around with the "excuse" that he was painting the premises so I thought I had better make an effort. Mind you, this was after he installed solar panels on my roof...for my benefit! The Art of the Renter - Dealing with landlords.

It meant I had to clean up under the stairs which included polystyrene insulation for a desktop dishwasher or some other geegaw. I avoid wrestling with polystyrene. (The name of my second wife incidentally,)

Anyway, I uncovered the ol' crystal ball. No. Not my wife. I gave her a good wipe and a final slap.

I'd recently bought a human-powered wind-up dynamo thingy (for the planet) and powered up the ol' girl.

I was startled to see that the thing that you would least

...I have to wind up the thing. bbl

Nevermind a trophy geordie man, 3pts will be a big ask ;)    i feel your pain, i'm a Cardiff supporter and we have to stump up 18 million for a corpse.

Tragic that was, I always thought Caerdydd should pay it but claim the money back from insurance.Somebody, somewhere should be locked up for that.
Never mind "colin" will soon have you lot firing again, long before Mike or Andrew post on here again I should imagine.

I'm sort of amazed that more people think TGC 20/21 will come before Trackman users get the new/updated PG2 software.

TGC sounds mostly "dead" and/or "as-is" for anything new in the next 9+ months to me.

I have to think PG2 and TM will come before anything on this list simply due to it being a thriving company with very high paying customers and seemingly a growing user base.

It really seems like all is on the up and up for Trackman to me - admittedly I'm on the outside looking in.

That’s what TM thinks or hope. But they have just pissed off the largest golf simulator community.

I’m not surprised that TGC20 got 7 votes. HB can take a crap in their forums and JE will buy it.

As an old Linkster (Links386 to Links2003) would definitely go for a Links2020!

Didn't Links have a way of connecting players just using the Host's IP address? Will it work on this game, I wonder (not needing Steam)?

Many previous golf games did, particularly older ones, as that was sort of the norm way back when. I think it would have to be something that is added to this game so I’m not sure who would do that or how.

I would totally love a direct IP connection option, as that would personally satisfy all I need for multiplayer since I only play with one other person all the time

So it begins...
Anyone, please pass along any screenshots if you happen upon them.

I’d love to see the visual upgrades.

I have not played JNPG or TGC2019 for about a week now and broke out the old PS3 and playing NCAA 12 College Football. Just have lost desire right now and probably stay away for awhile as the game was getting stale for me especially tournaments and really wish I had career mode for JNPG. Hey I even played some Super Mega Baseball 2 and enjoyed it very much. Right now all the golf games have gone stale for me unfortunately.

I've just reinstalled TW08 onto my machine and running it at 2560*1440 and it still looks pretty good along with a shed load of courses so bringing back the memories of good times

Along with Links 2003 running as good as well, PG is hardly getting a look in at the minute

I have had TW08 installed for a long time on W10.  When I am not playing JNPG I am often playing TW08 at one of the tournament sites that are shown in the Community Links menu on the left side of the page at:

I cannot believe how the courses just keep going and getting made for Tiger 08.
The list is incredible over at course downloads

I feel like I should get it going in my windows 10 install just for nostalgia sake
