Not trying to be clever Les and you no doubt have proof that I asked for the sanctions which are not my call to make as it happens. I think you know who makes that final decision. Many players have raised eyebrows and questions, Moderators and non Moderators and yes I was one small voice amongst the many.  He can play and win by how many each week, i'll still play and try to catch up.

In the end, what quite frankly has it got to do with you, you dislike the site etc so much now?

Many players have raised there eyebrows and questions to your consistent low scoring but the site hasn't put sanctions on you.

I dont dislike the site, I dislike whats become of it after been on it from the start, and I will tell you what it has to do with me, I'm a member still  although I have been banned from M and G  for 5 years, ive never abused, called or slagged anyone off ever in chatroom yet that was the reason given for the ban, I ve asked for proof from the owner with no reply, I can no longer post in forums, yet ive never used bad language and have only posted my thoughts  and opinions towards what was happening in the tours or on the site for that I'm banned from forums, very dictator like dont you think. That was the site owner spitting his dummy out because we wouldn't moderate a tourney for him, how childish is that.

They have indeed Les, I have posted videos, offered live feeds so people can see my meter and watch the speed of it and how I play...nothing to hide here.

lmao, nice one mate, need to look at it in context which I did explain earlier, but again for those who don't read...that -67 was in easier conditions. The current score by said person is on a much tougher course and conditions. Might want to read all the posts before answering and commenting on the PGLS Tours you're a member of...oh wait, can't see devon1 on the list nor Mic Fleetwood from above.

Lol....next....

This is the most excitement these forums have seen in months!

I dunno... those kind of scores are definitely ridiculous, but I don't care enough to cry or worry about it..  I have honestly not played a tournament in a while.   Not sure I will be back either...  as long as others continue to have their fun the way they see fit, that is all that matters.

Alls good in the PGLS Camp now they have removed the players -58 so as Affo is top of leader board again with his -34 normal service is resumed …..oh and guess what the forum post has disappeared too. Definitely normal dictator service has resumed. What a great bunch of cowboys.

Those scores are in the minority, bit of sensationalistic (is that a word?) journalism going on, not the normal winning score. As Les has kindly pointed out, -34 leads this week now so only -8/-9 per round average on a tough setup. Happens in all games, the longer it's out, the better everyone becomes and scores gradually get better, still more realistic than TGC Tours where it seems silly scores are the norm, inevitable over time.

Indeed Ted, the record is -77 for a PGA18 event, held by.....tlvx who also has the 2nd lowest score of -74

In fact 92 people have posted -40 or better for 4 rounds in this event!

I check in now and then to find out the status of upcoming community courses and in case there is some kind of official announcement concerning PG one way or the other.  I got a bit of a chuckle after reading this thread and the one over at PGLS not to mention the leaderboard.

First off, there is absolutely no way anyone can shoot -58 using RTSM at Tour Pro.  I have been playing RTSM at the Pro level and a good round for me is under par and that is after over 2000 hours.  I think RTSM gives the most realistic scores for PG if you are playing it as golf sim.  If you want an arcade golf game use 3C because the scores over at PGLS are ridiculosis.  It is really saying something when you think a winning score of -34 is reasonable.  The best score of a player using RTSM at Tour Pro for this tournament was I think -9 which looks like a real golf score.

I remember reading a review of LInks 2003 from 2003 at Game Spot where the reviewer described 3C as antiquated.

Timing one click over and over again for every type of shot is just plain boring.  If I was shooting the scores I see over at PGLS I would have quit a long time ago.  I suspect that the people who use 3C don't play the real game or just can't be bothered to take the time to get better at RTSM.

I bought TGC 2019 when it was on sale and although it is fun to play, I still think PG is a better game and more realistic.  To their credit they didn't include 3C as a swing option.  In fact there is only one swing method.  In a previous post I suggested that if you could combine elements from PG and TGC 2019 you would have the ultimate computer golf sim.

What is the point of having realistic ball physics or how wind impacts ball flight etc. when an arcade golf swing that dates back 35 years allows players to shoot scores that are laughable?

I fundamentally disagree.

By not putting 3C swing as an option into a golf game many people who have impaired arm and wrist movement could never play PC Virtual Golf.   I don't think you thought that part through before your post.

Anyone who thinks PG is more realistic than TGC2019 doesnt either play real golf or haven't  given TGC a fair go or even tried it because of the no 3 click option, on PG the spin is so unreal its a joke, in bunkers you get 2 options, full or splash, in real golf you can chip, punch, pitch in fact play any shot you like from anywhere. You can aim anywhere not restricted, you can have practice swings, and you can stop your swing if you dont feel right at any time, the wind is bloody useless on PG to say the least, and glitches my goodness its full of them, not to mention the balls plugging in bunkers, I had more balls plug in bunkers on PG in a week than I had in 53 years of playing real golf, realistic NOT. You can do all of this on TGC2019 and more, no course downloading they are already in the game, I have yet to get a glitch in game in 3 months of playing. Dont get me wrong its not perfect, no in game chat easily solved with a steam chatroom, multiplay in tournies is a faff on setting up but it works, resuming a game after a steam glitch is a faff on but can be done. The gameplay at first was a bit demoralising chipping and putting but a few hours on the practice areas helped greatly.  The game plays more realistic, wind works,  backspin  or stop is more realistic bunkers are great you do get the odd plugged ball but not so often, and the TGC Tours are very well ran, just looking at how many play TGC compared to PG tells me which one is superior, so all in all TGC2019  is by a mile a more realistic Golf experience in my humble opinion.

If that's what the results show, not exactly about ego (don't top the Long Drive stats or Drive accuracy mind).  Bit of a stupid statement really..them's the facts, Mr Troll.

Lol at the TGC propaganda!!! All hail the excellent TGC game and slag off PG, lmao.

In fairness, parts of what you spout i'd agree with. Many have said along with myself that an amalgamation of the 2 would be wonderful, each has better features than the other in different areas. You prefer TGC now, fair enough, I prefer PG. I think everyone knows each games' shortcomings by now and each game does have them, but get on your soap box by all means for the latecomers.
