It would seem Evian (home of the LPGA's 5th major) is already done.

According to the PP Facebook page, the hole fly-overs used on Sky Sports for the event were done by PP. Kerching!

;)

They also added this.... (why pics like this can't be added here is a mystery).

Not sure if this is from East Lake or one of the holes at Evian?

Either way, it's progress and it looks good.

That will be why when I viewed the virtual course on the TV coverage, whilst it appeared it had been done with Course Forge/Unity, itjust seemed to be lacking the polish of PP designs, and especially ones MJ has released in the past.

Don't get me wrong, it looked good, but there were just a few rough edges here and there.

I thought the St. Andrews graphics on sky last weekend could have been Course forge but again looked a little rough around the edges, they certainly looked a lot better than what they have used in the past

I would recommend folks taking a look in the 'Gallery' section of the site.

Seems as if MJ has been a busy boy lately and has uploaded some cracking images for us all to see.

Here's one, I'm sure you'll recognise the course.......

Other courses I think were shown were:- East Lake, Hazeltine and Torrey Pines - South. May have been a few more but I couldn't put a name against them.

Super impressive work.  Someone at PP is a wiz with the tree creator.  Those twisted pines at Torrey look amazing.

Tim,

Probably my bad, lol. The one I was guessing as Hazeltine was this one:-

If it's not, any idea where it is?

Think I saw shots of Pebble in the "teaser" PP released way back when.

I challenge Mike to use something other then Links2003 textures on every course he does..lol

Also to stay on topic there is no reason to make a real course, seems Mike Jones and crew is working on every tour course there is. No need to even release a course forge when there going to have 50 course by release date. Why make a Pebble Beach, Hazeltine, Augusta National, East Lake, Doral when all of them will be done already. The almighty dollar speaks over anything it seems.

I guess I must be the only one bothered by that.

Would they not do a great job in designing them, and likely have more accurate info too...?

We could argue their designs may not be as much fun as some other designers attempt at the same course, but is that PP's fault or the actual real course designer? Other than this, I don't see the issue here... maybe they have taken a specific course away from yourself?

This should open the door for those municipal, local courses to appear. We should see more fictional courses too, which is often the reason why programs like CF are designed..

I think we're in for a treat..
