Before PP came on the horizon, I was working on this http://www.yorkgolfc...php/course.html in APCD. The prospect of a new design tool put me off working on it more than I had (Was part way through the bunkering and planting). May see if I can transfer it into Course Forge :-)

Forest Park (Stockton on the Forest) is another gem about five minutes down the road from Strensall too.

Steve,
As long as they make the Terrain Importer available, you should be able to import any design done in the APCD. It may then require a bit of TLC within the Course Forge tool, but any work you may have already done should not be wasted.

That's what I'm hoping Daz. Didn't fancy spending all the time blending bunkers and planting if it may not be used much ;-)

Before it is all said and done I will be making a fictional and real Rhode Island golf course. New England never got enough courses into Links. Only TPC boston and the country club if I recall correctly. I hope someone other than me considers the following New England gems

Newport national
Lake of isles
Old sandwich
Mattapoisett
Cape cod national
Samoset
Owls nest
Yale
I just played Samoset yesterday. (Rockport, Maine) 50 degrees, about a 20 mph ocean breeze, and greens running at about an 11. With that and considering the wind chill factor, it was quite challenging. I might try this course in the future when CF becomes available. I have already imported the terrain and jpg into unity but without any tools, can't go much further than that.

Samoset is sweet. I really hope you give it a go. I bet it would've been much better in the summer.

I have plans to design Reddish Vale which is one of the most picturesque Parkland golf courses in the North of England. It is located in the Manchester area and was designed in 1912 by Dr Alister MacKenzie. I have the course laid out in Links but do not fancy all the seam blending etc, so I will wait for CourseForge

Looks like Brian has some serious skill. I wonder if Torrey North is the recent Mickelson redesign? The Medinah shot is my favorite of that batch.
