Looks terrible Brian!

I would scrap it and start over

(joking - obvious I hope)

Looks flippin' gorgeous!!

That is one of the most natural and just "correct" looking courses I've seen for PG.
The textures look superb..

Super excited to play it!

Thanks for the previews Brian, the course looks splendid. Very natural setting and realistic, will continue to look forward to the release.

Oh, you noticed, lol.... yeah, I got to play the real thing today, which was a nice novelty for someone who usually has a winter birthday :)

Happy Birthday Matt!

Here a few more screenshots of holes from the back nine. I'm hoping to be ready for a public beta test of the course by the end of the week.

It plays awesome, if people remember Brian does not make bad courses, he takes a bit longer because he tried to make it as perfect and realistic to the course as possible. I have been very honored and fortunate to call Mr. Silvernail a friend for many, many years. If there was one person I would want to design my golf course in real life it would be him.

If you like realism in designing, I am going to be a huge fan of yours. BTW, what you are showing here looks very very nice.

Like Matt said, Brian was, is, and no doubt always will bed the standard bearer for course design.

Thank you very much my friend. If you needed a course created in real life, you wouldn't need me as you are are a pretty darn good designer yourself.  :)

I can be but I was getting sick of working on Hazeltine so I rushed some of it. When we first played BDR I seen all the stuff I could have improved upon like better color matched trees and better texturing work.

Thanks again everyone for the kind comments regarding the screenshots I posted. I have a public beta test ready and started a new thread for it. I could have probably tweaked the course for a few more weeks, which is the downside to my perfectionist tendencies. But, I'm eager to move on and start working on some other course designs. Here is the link to the new thread:

Really well done course.  I played it with dynamic sky on and then off and the lowest FPS I had was on hole 16.  It was 32 with DS on and 41 with it off.  Not an issue though with the frame rate patch that was released late last year.

The course really gets interesting and spectacular beginning with the 13th hole.

Thanks for releasing this to the community and excited to hear that you will be working on some more courses.  The community courses are what keeps PG going.

Nicely done, Brian! Very natural looking, greens played well, saw no issues anywhere. Shot 65 from the back tees with easy pins just to check the course out. Love the perimeter work, you've blended the boundary trees with the course extremely well.

Thanks again for your efforts, and hope to see more courses from you. It's nice to have you join the ranks of other fine designers producing PG courses.  :)
