Lols!! who's taking bets that Davefv92c will be back within a week howling how the game is unplayable?.....we await the low-down on WGT

so much for your thoughts,as i have been playing WGT regular now and i don't have any problems with it,i think they may be getting tired of me hustling the credits as every day i seem to be able to get between 300 up to and yes i have had a few days of 1000 credits.lol but after getting used to it all is good,i got tired of playing 08 because there is just nothing to build towards there no goals to reach or anything to look forward to other then a few new courses a week out of coursedownloads.

as for this i have pretty much lost faith who knows maybe next year but i don't even come here to check often anymore

there are better things in life to be doing other then just sitting here reading forums,at least for me there is.

have a good one folks will be checking back in a week or so

Think I will stick with my Links 2003 powerstroke for a while longer. Never found RTS or click a challenge or as enjoyable.

Playing no PC Golf game at the moment.  LOL!  Love playing PC golf and miss it badly but I will not play again until Perfect Golf is live.

I have recently had to buy a new computer and decided on Windows 8 for the majority of my needs.

I knew I would have problems with games so it came as no surprise to find that Links2003 and TW08 wouldn't work although Custom Play Golf does. I then found an my old PGA2000 and decided to give it a try and to my surprise it works perfectly. I can now play all the old courses that I designed in the late 1990's

Links 2003 does work in Win 8, but not for everyone it seems, going by the posts at LinksCorner. Some folks are having no problems yet others are experiencing all sorts of woes.

I have tried now for over 2 months, including all the suggestions on Links Corner, but I can't get Links to work.

Windows 8.1 here - both Links and TW08 work fine.

I've been playing Microsoft Links 2003 league play through lspn.net. Their website is not responding and I'm afraid that they might have shut the site down. There's been rumors that it might cease to exist. I hope I can continue playing under another format until PP is ready. The players and moderaters are a great group.

Fran,

Not heard anything about LSPN shutting down, but I can ask at a few forums I frequent to see if anyone knows anything.

Links 2003 is still going away from LSPN, with a few tour sites still offering offline/online tournaments. Let me know if you would be interested to check them out and I'll drop you some URL's.

;)

I'm playing World Golf Tour but they frustrate me alot (sloppy physics).  Did play Tiger Woods until they stopped supporting the PC.  Looking forwards to PG. BTW; I'm a Tour Master at wgt.

Playing lots of WGT (as close to swinging the clubs as you can get without being there and swinging the clubs in my opinion), and TW12 on Ps3, but can't wait for this to happen.

Back to WGT for the time being, but no more charts, tables and predictors - they can only get you so far before the VEM starts to hate you for being a smartass!! best to play dumb to the game engine and it might just pity you enough to throw in a few happy landings....and then there's the forum, take 1 or 2 trolls out of there and it's a very nice place, I spend more time in there than in the game, lols.....
