lol yes.. guessing the game hasn't changed alot since 2010 but I'm sure we'll hear how much so.

It's good we've all mostly discovered the various outlets of online golf, however, whilst some think the game is simply limited, it's frustrating there isn't alot of outlets out there!

You're telling me Ian - there's really not a lot out there in comparison with Football & F. Manager, Racing and errr.....BMX and X Games stuff even. There's a few arcade type games but not a lot for the discerning adult orientated gamer......a couple of decent games that were abandoned years ago (that most of you lot all came from), and old TW's games on the torrent sites most of which I find unsuitable anyway (there's just no scope for analysis in the TW games :-S) and I am not going back to that rotten-to-the-core gambling suite to have my remaining credits syphoned off for me by a game that plays itself (I've said too many things over there and you just don't know if they've got it in for you because they have even admitted they 'can do anything to anyone at anytime' - and that's a direct quote from one of the admins. I would go back tomorrow if they stopped those computer introduced errors on the putting surface, that's all they would have to do from my point of view - I am prepared to be thrown around the fairways like everyone else, but I draw a line when the game misses putts on your behalf, the putt is the most vital aspect of the game and I had acquired masses of data to ensure I was hot on the greens, but not now they have taken control of every single aspect of play - I'll be dammed if I go back under those conditions, it's senseless and a good example of where reallity engines meet the perception of simply 'broken', you're essentially playing a game that's broken.

I just downloaded a game called capitalism 2 - looks like an involved business strategy game that will have to do for now, the wait here is obviously going to be endless it seems......

WGT used to play the game for hours, rarely play now, seems WGT prefer to play for you, not fun anymore and bloody expensive.

This WGT does seem to have something right for those that loathe to play it, continually doing so. The guys here at PP are likely well aware of that addiction it brings..

Just tried to breathe some new life in to my Links 2003 play (seeing as Perfect Golf is a few hundred good par 5's away yet, lol) and decided to move from Champ-Click to Elite -Click.

WGT.  I'm getting a bit sick of it as the game is just becoming like a Tiger Woods golf game with birdies everywhere.

I'm really looking forward to this game.

Have you tried playing Expert, Very Dry, with some wind?  Might give you more of a challenge... :)

.... or just play Links on powerstroke which is a better golf simulation!  ;)

Very true Acrilix. Powerstroke is way underrated. Even on pro setting it offers a great and realistic challenge.

Played a little Links 2003 last week, but it got old much quicker than it ever has in the past. It probably has something to do with wanting perfect golf and picking apart some of Links downfalls

Yeah.. think I'll leave my Links in the box it's happily lived for a few years now. I have fond memories of it, but until something replaces it, I won't fire it up...
