I tried to sort on column "D" but in the data tab the sort options were greyed out.

Hmmm.  The spreadsheet allows anyone with the link to edit it. so there is no reason for anything to be greyed out.  I'm not sure why it would be greyed out for you (you don't need to be logged in to Google/GMail either).

The sorting options are most easily accomplished by using the drop-downs next to the column headings (that is, the blue little down arrow next to "Swing", "Score", or "Player", for example), rather than sorting based on the entire column D or B or C.  If you are only looking to view the 3C players, for instance, it might be better to filter on the "Swing", again using the little down arrow.  Just uncheck "Blank" and "MS" from that pull-down menu.  I hope that helps.

------------------------------------

My final round saw me run into a string of bad putts on several holes.  I one-putted the first 4 greens and was only +2, but then 4-putted twice and 3-putted twice to finish the front 9 with 19 putts and 47 strokes.  The back 9 was pretty typical for me, coming in with 45 and a 4th round total of 92.  Stats for the round:

FWYs:  5 / 14 = 36%

GIRs:  6 / 18 = 33%

Putts:  35  (1.94/hole, 3.00/GIR)

Score:  47-45 = 92 (+20)

Rd4: 78 (42/36). Well, discounting 7 botched short putts and (again) pulling some shots, and 2 eagles, I'll leave it at that. At the moment PG-putting can't beat my real life putting. No way. I do hope putting with MS will improve with coming updates because right now it's a frust. Anyway, nice set up Ted and looking forward to some more brain-bashing! :D

[MS-max/max-BLI on]

PS: still hoping you will put in an extra column for denoting swingtype! ;)

Don't use the filter/arrows in the column headings (i.e., DO NOT USE the ones near B, C, or D); use the filter/arrows next to the column TITLE (i.e., the ones near PLAYER, SWING and SCORE).  I've made a video that hopefully shows it and once I figure out how to include it, I'll add it to this post.  OK, not the best video (my first effort), but should suffice:

Sorry, clubcaptain, I had tried to lock down the first two rows, so they wouldn't be sorted if someone did try to sort on the column letters, and that may have been causing the issue for you (and others).  The spreadsheet is now fully open to anyone, thus allowing you to sort/filter as desired.  Let me know if there remains any issue.  I've updated the spreadsheet for the scores posted up to post 228 in this thread.  It appears there are five players still to complete their rounds (and anyone else can join and play all four rounds yet as well, obviously).

Armand, thanks for the spreadsheet. Interesting. I was surprise about the split between 3C and MS. It appears that there about 20 3C and 15 MS identified spread fairly well throughout the field. To me, it indicates that in terms of difficulty, the two swing styles may be fairly equal. I sure hope so, because I would not like to see players refusing to play with those using a different swing method then what they use. I realize that one tournament doesn't establish a trend, but I hope that this type of info keeps coming to help make that assessment. Again Thanks!!

Thanks for the update. Most interesting, especially that all the 3C guys used MAX/MAX bar 4.

I'll have to join them next time and see how I fare with the majority.

I think that since pilots usually have great hand/eye coordination, they should be penalized at least 6 strokes per round. Anyone else agree??? :D

Very nice shooting at Pro level kairoe.

Leaderboard updated. This tournament will end when the final putt goes in at the alternative Masters at Augusta. Will nerves get to Spieth?

LOL. Wait a minute, you're a 'Fighting Sioux Alumnus' that means that your landings are perfect 100% of the time. Oh, I get it, you only work one flight a month. :D
