I you read it again, I'm sure you will see I didn't actually tell you personally to STFU. The post wasn't directed at you, it was one to the whole forum community which made reference to you.

Explain it any way you want - It was poorly worded.

Did your point need to involve any insinuations of somebody "shutting the F up"?  

 

(that was your choice to use that terminology)

 

A much better (and productive) way to make your contribution could have been:

"I think if this comes to fruition, Buck will be happy and finally get his 3D grass"

Would be great if the Nvidia "Turf Effects" can be implemented into the game. 

 

I do see that Direct X 11 is listed as a dependency on the Nvidia website.  Hopefully there is some sort of option the developers can include to allow users to select which Direct X version they want to use (Grand Theft Auto 5 has such an option).  This way, people who want volumetric grass and have a compatible video card can choose the Direct X 11 option.

I hope that the game then will be optimized for nvidia drivers as well. That would be a huge performance boost.

 

I have a 670 gtx (3770 k processor) and probably will need every bit of optimization to be able  to even turn the turf grass on.

⛳Pull up resource monitor and then minimize. I have the I5 4970 and GTX 960 and they work very well together, resulting in only 50-65% cpu resources used. Point is, pull up then minimize RM and check the percentage of cpu usage while you are up on the tee, then in heavy or lower FPS on screen. If your cpu is bottlenecking then your usage will be 90-100%.
I also would recommend that you look at buying a gtx 960 or higher on craigslist. Got mine for $150⛳
