Just go back a page. We don't all agree that to have fun we must be competing all the time...nor is it necessarily "human nature"

...and even if it were, who cares?

Let's just all have fun playing how we like.

Buck you are correct that not all have to compete but there are a lot of us that do like to so why don't you just not comment on it when you see it posted. In turn those of us that value gameplay over your 3D grass and water features won't comment on that. I think that is fair enough.

Chicago is my favourite course so far and it looks awesome too!

That course is fantastic in my opinion. I just hit one under par in breezy conditions and it was an absolute joy to battle round and achieve an under par score. I prefer this type of golf game to hitting ridiculous under par scores and no sense of challenge.

I agree.  It's no fun shooting 10-12 or even 18 under par every round.  The best score I've managed on Medinah is even par playing from the tips with no assists.  It was a grind... and it was fun!
