I'm working on a real life course called "Bellerive Country Club". It's located in Town and Country Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. The course will be hosting the 100th annual PGA Championship in 2018. The course opened in 1960 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones.

 

I've driven by there a few times and thought it looked like a neat course that would be fun to replicate in Unity & CF. This will be the first full course I have done and there is a lot too it for a first timer using unity & CF.

 

I'll keep updating this post as my project progresses. I have the first 7 holes completed and 3-4 on the back 9 done. I'll add more pictures as I get time today.

Are there any user-made courses available yet for PG? 

 

Dumb question, I know, but I thought perhaps the course betas would start rolling out shortly to give us something to chew on.

Ah, both The Black Swan and Willow Heath are user created courses. Both were designed by K11 who is not part of the development team but is a tester for both the game and for Course Forge.

Looks even tougher from the 4th pic down in the opening post, lol.

 

'A' is doing a great job bringing this course to life. Looks a proper course management course. Remember watching the 2013 Senior PGA on TV there.

I love K11's work but also hope there will be some more user created courses by more designers.

It can be, especially if playing the champ tees and difficult pin setting

Looks like I added another shot of hole #6 in there, oops...LOL....my eyes are crossing from all the uploads and working on the course..Haha

I'm really enjoying working on this course, it's been a little bit of a challenge being my first one with CF.

Hole #8 618 Yard Par 5, stream is in between front two teeboxes and the back two tees. It also runs along the right side of the fairway.

I have a couple of things to smooth out on the terrain, one next to the back two tees and one on the green on the back left.

Hole #9 445 Yard Par 4, Uphill slight dogleg left.

Noticed I had a big tree right on the edge of the green that I didn't remove prior to these pics...lol

Stream runs along right side of fairway and to the right of the green there is a 30 foot drop off.

 

I think this will be it for the day, my eyes hurt and I've had enough.

Stunning! You do such a great job, aftrshok. It looks so real. Fantastic recreation.

Is there a chance we might see this (and other) course(s) in one of the next updates or do we have to wait patiently for the final release of PG that comes with CF?
