Stunning! You do such a great job, aftrshok. It looks so real. Fantastic recreation.

Is there a chance we might see this (and other) course(s) in one of the next updates or do we have to wait patiently for the final release of PG that comes with CF?

Thanks a bunch, I'm just trying to do the best I can to make it as realistic as possible.

 

There are a heck of a lot more trees on the real course, don't think I can put as many on mine as it would play awful on lower end computers.

 

On to the Back 9 now, will post more pictures as I get some holes done today.

Looking good. Where did you get all the different pine trees? I have a course that is about 80% pine trees and I only have 3 or so in the speedtree pack.

They are the ones that Mike supplied in the CF starter pack.

Looks superb!  I wonder, is there a reason the rest of us cannot yet have access to CF?  It'd give us something extra to do (while we wait for the next update).

Each iteration of CF makes things easier for the new guys. Each time we do a big update we get a new batch of people making courses and testing. We can see where they fall down and what else needs to be done to make it easier for everyone else when the time comes.

It's been slow going but I managed to finish another hole.

aftrshok99, you really have an eye for detail.  I wonder, have you located the setting for reflective water?  If so, I'd love to see how it looks.  And I'd also like to know how much it affects frame rate.

Hole #16 237 Yard Par 3 but plays about 250 yards from Championship tees to the difficult pin placement.

I haven't even looked for that setting yet, I'll have to look for it and see. On my PC I can have everything maxed out on settings and I get no slow down. I have a feeling I'm going to have to trim some trees and bushes out at some point.

Hole #17 607 Yard Par 5, plays longer than that from the Championship tees. It has an interesting tee box layout, one behind the pond, one to the left and two to the right, ladies tee is way up in front.

 

Not sure if I'll leave all those bushes around the pond, looks nice when the ball is in flight over it but not so much just looking at it while on the tee.
